Executive summary transfer project:
Michelsen et al (2011) stated that after the world conference on the environment held in Rio de Janeiro (1992) and
Agenda 21, adopted on this occasion, the term ‘‘Sustainable development’’ has been handled in very different as well as
unclear and even abusive ways. Therefore, the overall goal of my project is to design and produce a small Lexicon on
sustainability concepts, terms, good practices as well as case studies for sustainability students, educators and profes-
sionals.
Nachhaltigkeit ist ein globales Thema mit verschieden Begriffen und Umsetzungskonzepten. Aber im Globalen Süden ist
das Konzept neu und häufig missverstanden. Deshalb ist die Integration sehr schwierig. Das Oberziel des Transferpro-
jektes ist die Erstellung eines Nachhaltigkeitslexikons. Der Vorteil des Buches ist enorm. Es stellt nicht nur eine theore-
tische Idee dar, sondern eröffnet unmittelbar innovative Möglichkeiten und Potentiale für Forschung und Wirtschaft.
