Each hospital admission = 1 case (cost weight x base rate)
DRG = Diagnosis Related Groups (from the US in the 80s)
A system to classify hospital cases, in Switzerland so far
1‘100 cases are defined - connected to the reimbursement
of the insurers (top cases; normal newborn, heart failure...)
Challenges: Whats the case mix of the hospital? Is the hospi-
tal able to cope with the shorter (DRG)stays & (stay) profitable?

Aus der Stadtzürcher Urgeschichte vor 5000 Jahren
Vortrag von Dr. Andreas Mäder und Dr. Niels Bleicher,
Abteilung Unterwasserarchäologie Stadt Zürich
Die Pfahlbausiedlungen wurden 2011 zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe
erklärt. An den Zürcher Gewässern gibt es zahlreiche Pfahlbaudörfer
aus der Steinzeit. Die Abteilung Unterwasserarchäologie dokumen-
tieren diese Zeugen aus der Vergangenheit seit über 40 Jahren. Im
Vortrag erhalten Sie Einblicke in die vielfältige Arbeit der Archäologen,
zur jüngsten archäologischen Rettungsgrabung beim Zürcher Opern-
haus und in das Leben der Ur-ZürcherInnen vor über 5000 Jahren.
