Dear Prof. Nacken, dear Mr. Hirche, dear Chairholders Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thanks very much for inviting me, it`s a big honour for me to speak to you today. I changed the title of my talk slightly. Instead of „Open Educational Resources: An Overview“ I now named it „An Overview of OER in Higher Education in a broken nutshell“. I did so, since I have only very little time to give you a comprehensive overview, so I guess it is not enough to provide you with a complete nutshell, but hopefully enough to swim
I did so, since I do not have the time to give you a really comprehensive overview, Rather I will present some central concepts of OER, but certainly there are many other concepts, which I will not even touch. I sometimes tend to break my speaking time, so I will hurry up now and hope that my English will not be pushed out of the curve.
