We Are Social - Creating in a crisis - Influencer-Marketing in DeutschlandWe Are Social
Team 6 presented on design and innovation consulting firm IDEO. IDEO was founded in 1991 in Palo Alto, California and has since designed products for major companies like Apple, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Ford and Nike. IDEO uses human-centered design thinking and observational research methods like shadowing and behavioral mapping to develop solutions for clients within tight timeframes, such as redesigning AT&T's mMode service in 17 weeks. Proper research planning is important to make good decisions and avoid wasting time and resources.
Hill Holliday conducted a study called "No Cash, No Cards: A Week in the Cashless Future" for Bank of America to understand consumer attitudes towards mobile payments. Participants had to use only their phones to pay for a week. Insights found people felt vulnerable without wallets and awkward paying with phones. Strategy #2 was chosen to address awkwardness head-on by saying mobile payments are the "easiest (but most awkward) way to pay." For Kuhn Rikon in China, insights found Chinese consumers didn't view the minimalist European style as luxury. Emphasizing "Made in Switzerland" educated consumers and led to extraordinary sales growth.
Nivea is a skincare brand owned by Beiersdorf that was originally focused on medical plasters but has expanded globally to over 14 product categories. Between 1991-2001, Nivea saw double-digit annual growth and revenues reached €2.5 billion by 2001. Beiersdorf pursued an umbrella branding strategy to increase brand equity and market penetration by capitalizing on the strong Nivea name across different markets and age groups. This approach aims to reduce costs but can threaten associate brands if not implemented carefully. Nivea has maintained its brand image through natural ingredients and a consistent message appealing to global consumers.

The document discusses the beverage market in India and challenges faced by Coca-Cola and Pepsi in the Indian market. It notes that Coca-Cola and Pepsi dominate the cold drinks category in India. Both companies faced numerous regulatory barriers and issues when entering the Indian market in the late 1980s and early 1990s. These included foreign ownership restrictions and legal inconsistencies. Coca-Cola and Pepsi also faced challenges in rebuilding brand image and regaining consumer trust due to activism against their environmental and business practices. The document examines strategies used by both companies and lessons learned for effectively entering new markets.

1) The worldwide personal luxury goods market grew 2% in 2013, marking a slowdown from previous years of double-digit growth and the first moderation since the 2009 financial crisis.
2) Euro fluctuations negatively impacted 2013 market performance despite real growth outpacing 2012, and the Japanese yen devaluation drove over half the difference between real and nominal growth.
3) Online luxury continues to grow rapidly at around 10% annually, with accessories having the highest online penetration and the US dominating the online luxury market.
This document appears to be about inspiring ads but provides little context or information beyond the title. It includes brief section headings for "Cars" and "Some Guerilla FUN" but no further details. The document is too short to extract a meaningful 3 sentence summary.

Rolex is a luxury Swiss watchmaker known for its high-quality timepieces. It was founded in London in 1905 and established itself as a leader in watchmaking through innovations like being the first waterproof watch. Rolex uses strong branding, exclusive distribution channels, and brand ambassadors like athletes and celebrities to market to wealthy customers and position itself as a symbol of prestige, luxury, and adventure. While its high prices, style limitations, and reliance on mechanical movements present weaknesses, Rolex maintains a dominant market share through commitment to excellence, reputation, and managing supply to increase demand for its exclusive timepieces.
A study of buying behaviour of working adults towards branded apparels in sel...Shubha Brota Raha
The Indian apparel market has demonstrated resilience and growth in an environment characterized by slow economic growth. The domestic apparel market, which was worth INR 207,400 crore (~USD 38 billion) as of 2012, is expected to grow at a compound average growth rate (CAGR) of 9% over the next decade. After food and grocery, it is the 2nd biggest category under organized as well as unorganized retail. Further, on 7 December 2012, the Federal Government of India allowed 51% FDI in multi-brand retail in India.
The face of Indian apparel market is changing very fast. A new class of customers with more money to spend, and a growing passion for fashion, has been generated by swift development and rising urbanization. In India’s high-growth, fast-changing retail clothing market, one can see significant new growth opportunities for foreign and domestic players. Much has been talked about all these issues viz. future of apparel retail in India, the impact of foreign players on the domestic apparel retailers etc. But we should not forget that customers are the end beneficiary of all the retail activities. As a democratic country with high growth rates, the consumer spending has risen sharply as the youth population (33 percent of India‘s population is below the age of 15) has seen a significant increase in its disposable income. The apparel fashion plays a paramount role in shaping apparel consumerism. As lifestyles change, fashion in India is becoming more diversified, as in the Western countries. Technology, ideas and lifestyles are moving concurrently and quickly. Indian market has high complexities in terms of a wide geographic spread and distinct consumer preferences varying by each region necessitating a need for localization even within the geographic zones. Companies and brands that offered monotonous and mundane products for years, have now multiplied their product ranges and new appealing styles, shapes and forms are being launched each season by them. Hence, it becomes crucial to find out the perception of customers towards the various retail developments in apparel segment and the factors responsible for choosing a particular apparel store.
In the view of the above, an attempt was made not only to analyze the customers’ perception towards various retail developments in apparel segment but also to find out their buying behaviour with special reference to three select regions in India – Delhi & NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore.
