2. Jesus Heals a Roman Soldier’s Servant
Heilung des Knechtes des Hauptmanns
When Jesus entered Capernaum , a Roman officer came to him
and said : “Lord , my servant is very sick and bedridden at home.”
Jesus said to him : “I will go and heal him.” However, the officer
replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you enter my home. Just
say the word and I know my servant will be healed.”
Jesus then said, “Go then, your servant is healed.” The officer
went home and found the servant was healed at that same
moment. (Matthew 8:5-13)
Bett und leidet entsetzlich.« Jesus antwortete: »Ich will
Was du geglaubt hast, ist Wirklichkeit geworden.« Zur selben Zeit
wurde der Diener gesund.
3. Jesus was about to enter the town gate of Nain when
a group of people approached, carrying out a dead
body. The dead person was the son of a widow, who
was crying.
When Jesus saw her, He had compassion on her and
told her not to cry. He then touched the bier and
commanded the young man to get up. He arose and
began to speak! (Luke 7:12-16)
Jesus Brings a Widow’s Son Back to Life
4. Jesus Calms a Raging Storm
Herr über Wind und Wellen
Jesus was in a boat with His disciples when a storm
began to toss high waves and rock the boat. The
disciples were concerned that the boat would tip
over, so they awoke Jesus, who was sleeping.
Jesus asked his disciples, “Why are you afraid? Where
is your faith?” He then commanded the storm be
calmed. Immediately, the storm went away.
(Matthew 8:24-27)
weg.
5. Jesus Brings a Ruler’s Daughter Back to Life
Die Auferweckung der Tochter des Jairus
A ruler of the people came to Jesus and said that his
daughter had just died. Jesus and His disciples went to the
ruler’s home and saw a gathering of mourners. Jesus told
the mourners to leave the house, and He told them that
the girl was not dead, but asleep. The mourners laughed at
Him. But, after the mourners had left the home, Jesus took
the girl by the hand and the girl rose up, alive. (Matthew
9:18-19, 23-26)
6. Jesus Heals a Man who was Born Blind
Die Heilung eines Blindgeborenen
As Jesus was walking, he saw a man who had been born
blind. His disciples asked him, “Jesus, why was this man born
blind? Did he sin or did his parents sin?” Jesus replied, “No, it
is so that God’s healing power might be displayed in his life.”
Jesus then spat on the ground, made mud and put this mud
on the blind’s man’s eyes. He told the man to go wash his
eyes in the Pool of Siloam. The man obeyed and was
immediately healed of his blindness. (John 9:1-8)
7. Jesus Walks on Water
Jesus geht auf dem Wasser
Jesus told His disciples to go out into the water in a boat
while Jesus went to a private place to pray. Later, a big
storm arose and Jesus walked out to the boat on the
water. As soon as Jesus climbed aboard the boat, the
storm stopped. (Matthew 14:22-33)
See, da brach ein schwerer Sturm los.
8. Jesus and his disciples took a boat to the other side of the lake; however, the crowds followed them.
When they arrived, there was a large group of people waiting for them. Jesus felt sorry for the people,
so he taught them and healed the people who were sick.
In the evening, the disciples said to Jesus, “Send the people home so they can get food.” But Jesus
told them, “You give them something to eat.” The disciples replied, “But we only have five pieces of
bread and two fish.
Jesus told the people to sit down. He took the food, thanks God for it and told the disciples to give
the food to the people. Everyone then ate and was filled.
(Matthew 14:13-21)
Jesus feeds Over 5,000 people
