9. Die Entwicklung Neuer Ziele
• Bislang dominierende ökonomische Ziele sind weiterhin
notwendig, aber nicht mehr hinreichend.
• Conscious capitalism, shared value und purpose-led
processes bedingen eine Berücksichtigung zusätzlicher
Ziele und Zielgruppen.
• Die Information Systems Disziplin ist erst am Anfang
derartige Ziele zu verstehen und zu berücksichtigen
(infancy of responsible IS).

Gabriella is the Chief People Officer at a leading
insurance company. She smiles as she looks at the
unusual job posting she is about to put to the market.
One of the qualifications states, “MBA 3.0 or higher”.
The selection panel made this decision as only from the
MBA 3.0 onward were topics like disruptive innovation,
platform economics, and design thinking embedded in
the curriculum. She was well aware that potential
recruits with MBA qualifications of versions 2.5 and
earlier would be unqualified for the job she was
recruiting for, unless they had another way of
demonstrating their knowledge or experience in these
new and critically important areas of business practice.

31. Benevolence
Benevolence has three characteristics:
1) It constitutes an immediate benefit for the recipient party
2) It is an investment for the giving party in the short term
3) It is (mostly) an optional behavior.
Focus here: Mutualistic, Macro, Formal, Public/Private
Benevolence is the ‘disposition to do good’, being kind.
It demonstrates that the well-being of the customer
is an authentic priority for the organisation. Beispiel:
Proaktives Preisanpassen

32. The Problem:
Benevolence is a recognized
element of trust. However,
operatiomnaling and scaling
benevolence is a key issue.

Be Fair
Adequacy
Awareness
Do Right
Prevention
Compensation

34. Example:
Proactive allocation of funds to a higher interest
product.
Pattern:
Allocate to fund within pre-agreed investment
parameters if higher interest is possible.
Definition:
Continuous scanning for better products.
Value:
Customer gains immediate financial benefit.
Context:
Customers often commit to conventional banking
products long-term, seldom exploring better options.
Consideration:
Customer consensus, customer risk appetite,
defined rejection timeframe, event- or time-driven.
Process Automation
Product comparison triggers task (re-allocation).
Adequacy:
Proactive fund
reallocation

38. Zusammenfassung
• Verantwortliche Autonomisierung bedingt die Berücksichtigung
neuer Ziele, Szenarien und Kompetenzen
• Grundsätze verantwortlicher Autonomisierung sind
kontext-spezifisch zu instanziieren
• Scenario Design Research ist eine Form kollektive
Digital Development Goals zu beschreiben
• Es bedarf einer Beschleunigung, um unsere
Forschungs- und Bildungslatenz zu reduzieren
