Carlos Juan introduces a new Carlos CP-1A SLY guitar system
Since 1998 Carlos Juan manufactures and supplies his own guitar pickup systems and accessories to the World’s
Best Guitarists. Carlos is now introducing his new pickup model CP-1A SLY. It includes a new active, endpin-
mounted preamp with „Carlos“ Signature detail: two mini pots (GAIN and MIDDLE) for a personal tone
adjustement. Mini volume pot that sticks inside soundhole and two contact sensors that are mounted (glued) on
the inside of guitar. The advantage to this new pickup is easy installation and personal choice of sensors-
placement, thus allowing the player to make a variety of dynamic and tonal adjustements easily. There is no
particular need for luthier’s assistance for installation. The system uses one 9V battery (approx. 250 hrs).
SLY is also of particular interest to percussion players (bongos, cajon....), for upright-bass, mandolin, sitar
and any other string instrument with resonating body where sensors can be glued on. MSRP is EUR 199.-.
