This document discusses trends in technology use among students and implications for education. It finds that students are increasingly using mobile devices and have widespread internet access. Communication occurs largely through social media like Facebook. Usage of learning platforms is growing steadily. Looking ahead, it envisions more personalized and collaborative learning supported by new technologies like apps, interactive eBooks, and augmented reality. Mobility, open resources, and real-time collaboration will be important. The focus should be on using technology to enhance face-to-face learning and community, not replacing it.
