This document discusses valve position sensors from ifm. It provides information on:
- Inductive sensors that provide contactless position feedback for quarter-turn actuators and rising stem valves.
- Sensors with AS-i interface that allow monitoring and control of up to 62 actuators over a 2-wire cable.
- A rising stem valve sensor (efector valvis) that provides continuous position feedback for single seat, double seat, and diaphragm valves with 3 switching outputs or analog output.
- Accessories like target pucks and adapters to integrate the sensors with different valve types from manufacturers like APV, SPC, Bardiani, and GEA.
The document provides information about IO-Link and ifm electronic's IO-Link product portfolio, including:
- IO-Link masters that connect intelligent sensors to fieldbuses and support up to 4 or 8 IO-Link ports per module.
- The StandardLine Coolant and StandardLine Food series of IO-Link masters that are designed for harsh industrial environments and hygienic areas, respectively.
- Technical specifications and accessories for the IO-Link masters, including connection cables, input/output modules, and configuration software.
- Benefits of IO-Link such as digital data transmission, sensor identification and replacement, wire break detection, and direct connection to IT systems.
The document discusses inductive sensors and their applications. It introduces Kplus sensors which have a uniform sensing range for detecting all metals, making them ideal for applications detecting things like aluminum. It also discusses electromagnetic immune Kplus sensors that are suitable for welding applications as they can prevent incorrect switching due to strong magnetic fields. Robust full-metal sensors are also introduced, providing high reliability even under extreme conditions like temperature changes or aggressive cleaning chemicals. They are well-suited for applications in food processing, machine tools, and other industrial environments.
The document discusses vibration monitoring systems for condition monitoring of machines. It provides an overview of sensors, diagnostic electronics, software, and accessories for monitoring vibration velocity, acceleration, and dynamic forces. The systems allow early detection of machine faults, avoidance of consequential damage, and integration into automation and control systems.

besonders anspruchsvolle Applikationen.
