2. Objectives
Objectives
— to define and develop the passenger
psychological model based on biometric
measurements
— to define the set of sensors needed for
obtaining both the necessary biometric and
localisation information for each passenger
— to integrate all sensors in a comprehensive
and efficient way creating a passenger
personalised system
— to develop a smartphone application that
will be the main information interface for the
passenger while serving as communication
gateway
— to provide the necessary incentives schemes
for the take-up of the PASSME system
3. Methodology
— Identify from current literature the psychological parameters
interplaying to determine changes in behavioural human
responses (e.g. stress; enjoyment; contentment; neutrality)
— Definition of biometric parameters for the calculation of
• build a psychological model
• calculating/determining levels of stress
• other emotional states

7. Incentives
• “Visualizing progress” regularly is an incentive for user continue to
access the app
• Users earn incentive “badges” to achieve his goals
• “Gamification” is generally a way to keep the user engaged
• Sending suggestions on how to “relax” can help guide user behavior
• Associating a color code to stress measurement scale is visually
appealing and more perceptible
• Wearable changes colors based on user´s stress level
• Apps respond to user stress levels using “audio” and “visual” feedback
• If users can record the events that affect them (and find significant
“stressors”), they can find ways to reduce stress
• Users have the possibility to share information in social media
