By Law …
•It is responsible for preparing a national statistical system, and
will report directly to the Cabinet.
•The bureau shall be considered the sole official statistical
source for the state and the source of its official statistical data.
•Government Agencies and Local Statistical Centers are
obligated to provide statistical data as required by the Bureau.
•Federal Government Agencies shall provide the necessary
support to the Bureau and shall provide statistical data to it to
enable the Bureau to perform its mandate.

1. Preparation phase: stakeholders map was
accomplished with around 63 members.
2. Bilateral meetings were conducted, 22 MoUs.
3. Technical work in preparing Admin. Records in
relevant parties are in progress.
4. Preparation for phase 2 where flow of data
should take place is under development.

Data dissemination:
1. Improving the access to NBS data – Smart
applications.
2. Developing UAE National Statistical Data Center.
3. Moving to dynamic data base (interactive and
modern visualization) with Portal Website .
4. Improving the role of the training center in
capacity building and statistical awareness for
NBS and NSS resources, more than 75 courses
and 1500 trainees.
