5. This is what
attendees say.
“We attended Predictive Analytics World for
the second time and again were very
impressed with the quality of the
presentations. In addition we won a major
client at the event, so our participation has
been doubly worthwhile“
Dr. Michael Allgöwer, Director Competence
Center Data Science, b.telligent GmbH & Co.
KG
6. More praise.
„Top organisation.
Very interesting
presentations.“
„Every presentation was very good. Specifically
the keynotes were very well chosen. And
represented the interesting variety of topics
discussed at the event.“
„Great content, not a sales show by service and tool providers (as it is the case
at most events). Very open exchange during the Q & A following the lectures
and no glorification of results by speakers. Participants have high expertise
which meant that we had very good conversations during the breaks.“
10. Lead Topic for 2015
Digital Transformation – the automation of mental power
Industrialization shaped the past century and work force
became increasingly automated. The 21st century is
characterized by the automation of mental power. As part of
the digital transformation, computers are taking over arithmetic
and, increasingly, mental tasks. In contrast to the mental
abilities of human-kind, predictive analytics solutions are almost
infinitely scalable and distributable, which means that
predictive analytics enables new and amazing applications. The
Predictive Analytics World Conference 2015 highlights the
predictive applications of the present and the future.
11. Day 1: Online Marketing
& E-Commerce
Day 1 of the conference is dedicated to the future of
data-driven online marketing and e-commerce.
Predictive analytics applications enable full
automation and greater personalisation of
advertising and online commerce. Intelligent
optimisation methods make decisions independently
and in real time. The presentations demonstrate
successful applications of predictive analytics and
prescriptive analytics in online marketing and e-
commerce and explain the methods and processes.
12. Day 2: Ubiquitous
Predictive Analytics
The second day of the conference is dedicated to
ubiquitous Predictive Analytics. Predictive
applications are already everywhere around us,
always – often without us being aware of it. They
control financial flows and production processes, they
control smart devices and smart factories or influence
our business and purchasing decisions. The
presentations on day 2 show the variety of
applications of predictive analytics in various
industries.

16. Tips for a successful
abstract
Create a short and concrete title, that grabs the
attention of attendees.
The abstract should be like a good appetiser, that
motivates the attendees to come and see your session.
Be specific: describe the problem, present the solution
and explain the benefit.
Give the attendees a promise: there should be a least
one actionable learning in your presentation, that the
attendees can apply right away.
17. Tips for a successful
abstract
No sales pitch! Convince attendees with your project, your
personality and your expert knowledge.
Be open, honest and concrete: How did you solve the
problem? What did not work? How did you validate the
prediction?
Start in a way that everybody can understand you and then
get into detail for the experts.
Create a good atmosphere and take some time for
questions and discussion.
