An Introduction to the Google App Enginegeorgeholler
George Holler gave an introduction to the Google App Engine platform at a Google Technology User Group meeting on November 17, 2010. He discussed how the App Engine allows developers to build scalable web applications using Python or Java and pay only for resources used. The App Engine provides APIs for common tasks like data storage, email, and images as well as a local development environment and tools for deployment and management through the App Engine dashboard. Holler also outlined limits for App Engine applications.
This document provides specifications for the M4A785-M motherboard, including support for AMD Phenom II, Athlon II, and Sempron AM3, AM2+, and AM2 CPUs. Key features include support for DDR2 1200 MHz memory, integrated ATI Radeon HD 4200 graphics with up to 512MB shared memory, and AMD 785G/SB710 chipset. The motherboard has four DIMM slots for a maximum of 16GB of unbuffered ECC or non-ECC memory.
This document summarizes digital media usage statistics in Israel from 2008-2010. It finds that:
- Google and Walla had the highest reach in 2010, with 93% and 89% respectively. Facebook reach grew substantially from 2008-2009.
- Younger age groups (15-24, 25-34) spent the most time on Facebook and Walla, while older groups (55+) spent more time on traditional media sites.
- The number of Facebook fans in Israel doubled from 2008-2009, growing faster than any other digital platform.
This document summarizes the results of a Facebook survey. It shows charts about how often users access Facebook, how many Facebook friends they have, what activities they prefer, and how many of their Facebook friends are real friends. It then concludes that most users access Facebook daily via smartphones, have between 101-500 friends who are mostly real friends, and prefer to share videos and pictures, view friends' walls, and chat. It also finds that Facebook is seen as a fun and interesting tool for communication globally.

The document summarizes an article about the development of small family firms in China. It discusses how China has transitioned to a more open market economy, leading to growth in private small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly family firms. These family firms are defined as owner-managed businesses where family members have significant financial or managerial control. The document also notes that SMEs faced challenges from government policies and lack of bank support that slowed their growth.
This document discusses unusual photos and enjoying every day. It encourages living each day with enjoyment by finding unusual photos through the Unusual Pics Fotos Poco Usuales account and sharing them. Living with enjoyment each day can be achieved by discovering unusual photos that are outside the ordinary.
1. Ali, the son, argues with his sister Galina about who should succeed their father Djalal in running the family business. Ali believes he is more qualified as a man, while Galina wants the opportunity.
2. Djalal is unsure who to choose and asks his phone application various questions submitted by Ali and Galina that seem to show men as more qualified entrepreneurs.
3. Galina argues the questions and social norms are biased against women. She threatens to leave for her boyfriend's business instead of dealing with the discrimination.
4. In the end, Galina does leave, leaving Djalal and Ali depressed at losing her help around the home and business.

Mathematikunterricht in 1zu1 Ausstattungen.pptxFlippedMathe
