In both OECD and emerging market countries, well-governed companies attract premium valuations. 70. Ten ways for a CEO to improve corporate governance 1. Schedule regular meetings of the non-executive board members from which you and the other executives are excluded. Non-executives are there to exercise “constructive dissatisfaction” $ 2. Explain fully how discretion has been exercised in compiling the earnings and profit figures. These are not as cut and dried as many would imagine.
