The first step in the training process for any organization is to
assess the objectives of the training program and then device a
strategy or method to administer the same.

Objectives are the end results which the
organization wants to achieve within a given time
frame.
Objectives should be realistic and measurable
Objectives should help in guiding and
motivating employees to accomplish their
mission
You need a strategy that defines the
method adopted by the organization to
meet the objectives
Strategies are used as a road map for
accomplishing organizational objectives
Why Do You Need to Assess Training Needs
1# To identify the performance gap
2# To identify needs of both the organization and
the employees
3# To identify the learning gap
4# To define the learning objectives
Establishment of Training Goals
Goals need to be very specific
Goals+ Objectives = Major
components of training initiative
Goals must be stated for measurable
learning objectives
Training goals determine the overall
direction of the training program

IMPLEMANTATION OF TRAINING
PROGRAM
This involves putting the training planning into action.
Setting the climate for learning
Making employees comfortable
The trainer should be comfortable and
confident with the content of the training
Scheduling session time
Making sessions interactive
Use appropriate learning
methodologies
Use simple method to evaluate your
employees performance on a regular basis
Determine whether the goals and objectives
have been achieved or not
