The truth is that you can ignore these
concepts, but you do so at your absolute
peril
Companies that want to sell their services or
products will struggle to succeed unless
they invest time and effort in generating
awareness and interest…
It’s called M-A-R-K-E-T-I-N-G
In a difficult market with limited demand and
increased competition, companies who fail
in this area will really struggle
The employment market is no different
If you don’t raise awareness of who you are, what
you do and what you’ve achieved, expect to lose
out to other people who do

Once you’ve answered this question, start thinking
about:
- How easy you’re making it for future employers to find
out about you
- How much it costs a future employer to find out about
you
- How you could make it easier for your potential future
employers to find out about you
And we’ll see you in the next part of this tutorial to
discuss this in a little more depth.
