2. Titus 2:11-15 For the grace of God that
brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and
worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
righteously, and godly in the present age, 13
looking for the blessed hope and glorious
appearing of our great God and Savior
Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us,
that He might redeem us from every lawless
deed and purify for Himself His own special
people, zealous for good works. 15 Speak
these things, exhort, and rebuke with all
authority. Let no one despise you.
3. GODâS AMAZING GRACE
A.We are saved by grace through faith (Eph.
2:8).
B.We are to grow in grace of the Lord (2 Pet.
3:18).
C.We must proclaim the gospel of God's
grace (Acts 20:24).
D.We must stand in God's grace (Rom.
5:1,2).
E. The blessings and importance of God's
Grace is revealed in Titus 2:11-14.

4. I. THE ORIGIN OF GOD'S
AMAZING GRACE
A.(2:11a): "for the grace of God." God is the
source of grace.
B.1 Corinthians 1:4 I thank my God always
concerning you for the grace of God which
was given to you by Christ Jesus,
C.Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption
through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace.

A.(2:11b): "that brings salvation."
B.Salvation is the purpose of God's grace.
C.Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in
mercy, because of His great love with
which He loved us, 5 even when we were
dead in trespasses, made us alive together
with Christ (by grace you have been
saved),
6. III. THE EXTENT OF GOD'S
AMAZING GRACE
A. (2:11c): "has appeared to all men."
B. The gospel is for all. The recipients of God's
grace are "all men."
C. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that
He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life.
D. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning
His promise, as some count slackness, but is
longsuffering toward us, not willing that any
should perish but that all should come to
repentance.
7. IV. THE DEMANDS OF GOD'S
AMAZING GRACE
A.(2:12): "teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should
live soberly, righteously, and godly in the
present age,"
B.Godâs grace does not alleviate us from
responsibility.
C.God's grace requires we leave unholy
practices & live a holy life.

D. 1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I
am what I am, and His grace toward me was
not in vain; but I labored more abundantly
than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God
which was with me.
E. Galatians 2:20-21 I have been crucified with
Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ
lives in me; and the life which I now live in
the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not
set aside the grace of God; for if
righteousness comes through the law, then
Christ died in vain.â
9. V. THE HOPE OF GOD'S
AMAZING GRACE
A.(2:13): " looking for the blessed hope and
glorious appearing of our great God and
Savior Jesus Christ,"
B.God's grace fills us with the hope of
eternal life.
C.1 Peter 1:13 Therefore gird up the loins of
your mind, be sober, and rest your hope
fully upon the grace that is to be brought
to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

A.(2:14a): "who gave Himself for us..."
B.Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was
made a little lower than the angels, for the
suffering of death crowned with glory and
honor, that He, by the grace of God, might
taste death for everyone.
C.Grace cost God His Son and it cost His
Son His life.
11. VII. THE INTENT OF GODâS
AMAZING GRACE
A.(2:14b): âthat He might redeem us from
every lawless deed and purify for Himself
His own special people, zealous for good
works.â
B.Romans 6:14-15 For sin shall not have
dominion over you, for you are not under
law but under grace. 15 What then? Shall
we sin because we are not under law but
under grace? Certainly not!
C.Godâs grace is intended to cause us to
purify our lives from sin and do good.

A.(2:15): Speak these things, exhort, and
rebuke with all authority. Let no one
despise you.
B.Acts 20:32 So now, brethren, I commend
you to God and to the word of His grace,
which is able to build you up and give you
an inheritance among all those who are
sanctified.

AMAZING GRACE
C. Jude 1:3-4 Beloved, while I was very
diligent to write to you concerning our
common salvation, I found it necessary to
write to you exhorting you to contend
earnestly for the faith which was once for
all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men
have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were
marked out for this condemnation, ungodly
men, who turn the grace of our God into
lewdness and deny the only Lord God and
our Lord Jesus Christ.
14. ARE YOU UNDER GODâS GRACE
A. Galatians 5:4 You have become estranged from
Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you
have fallen from grace.
B. Hebrews 12:12-15 Therefore strengthen the
hands which hang down, and the feeble knees,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that
what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be
healed. 14 Pursue peace with all people, and
holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the
grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing
up cause trouble, and by this many become
defiled;
C. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a
wretch like me! AMEN!
