2. Mission:
To catalyze the holistic growth of healthy families and communities in places of deep poverty. Working together
with partners in Africa and elsewhere, we invest in local efforts in medical and economic development.
MISSION :
To be a catalyst for change and growth among stakeholders in the coffee sector by providing a framework
that enhances policy and practice, and improves stakeholder livelihoods, especially for farmers.
Great Commission :
“go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” - (Matthew 28:19)
MISSION :
Sharing the love of Jesus Christ through aviation and technology so that isolated people may
be physically and spiritually transformed.
Partnership :v Arrangement whereby different parties (individuals or organizations) agree
to collaborate in order advance their mutual interests.
v Organizations may partner to increase the likelihood of each achieving their
mission and to amplify their reach..
3. KCP is a collaborative effort of 3 organizations

for local market

4. Why Coffee ?
v Coffee used to be among the main drivers of
DRC’s National Economy.
v North and South Ubangi were among top coffee
production regions within DR Congo.
v Civil conflict and disease of the coffee trees,
combined with a period of low prices (2000 –
2004 caused production in these provinces to
decline drastically.
Ø Coffee remains a strong preference of the
farmers as a cash crop,
Ø Demand both in the internal market and
internationally for Robusta Coffee, is growing
rapidly,
Ø Production costs are low compared to other
Robusta producing countries,
Ø DR Congo is identified in climate change
models as one of the countries which is likely
to have the best growing conditions (in the
world) for coffee, looking 20 – 30 years ahead.
