2. What is a Digital Footprint?
• Ones digital footprint is the tail or “footprint” one leaves online that others
can see and collect information about yourself
• Your digital footprint is made up of everything you do on social media
• What you search
• What you post
• Things you post can be copied, shared, searched and even broadcasted
• Everything you put up online is PERMANENT

3. Why is it Important?
• Many people can look you up online and see your posts so it is important to
leave a good impression
• If you’re applying for universities, the odds of them accepting you will be in
your favor if you keep your digital footprint clean
• Anyone has access to whatever you post, even random strangers

4. My Personal Opinion on your Digital Footprint
• I personally think that it is good to have the knowledge before using social
media
• I believe it is important to be responsible with what you put up online
• Be aware with what risks you're putting yourself at before using social
media, before searching something up on the internet or even following an
account on Instagram

5. How is Personal Privacy Achieved?
• Personal privacy is achieved through the knowledge of an individual towards
social media
• If an individual is aware that everything on the internet is permanent, they
become more likely to use social media responsibly without putting their
personal information and privacy at risk

6. Why should Individualism be Respected
• Individualism is very important aspect to humans
• With every human being their own individual different from others it creates
an interesting environment around the world
• Individualism creates passion, different perspectives, debates, ideas and so
much more that help the world in advancing in every way
• If certain individuals were not respected ideas would be lost, the number of
perspectives would drop and would hold us back in moving forward

7. My Experiences with showing Respect for
others and myself
• Respect is not necessarily liking the individual but showing them respect for what they
have achieved, what they have fought through, and many other factors in their life
• For an example, I have had a coach in the past where I didn’t really enjoy as my coach,
however, he earned my respect through what he accomplished, what he did, the phrases
he’d say and overall the type of person he was around and away from hockey
• It’s the same idea with other players, I may not have enjoyed their presence but the type of
people they worked hard to be, the achievements they achieved in the game, and the way
they balanced their hockey life with their school and family life was what they earned my
respect for
• Showing yourself respect can be tough, sometimes its by standing up for yourself to
someone who has been rude or whatever to you. Or it can just simply be showing yourself
respect for the fact that you put in hard work everyday whether its in hockey or school or
both
• An example of showing respect for myself is that there were times in my life where I've
stood up for myself, I show myself respect because I know I work hard in school and hockey
everyday and I balance my hockey life with my school life, my family life, and my friend life
