• Implementing CP in a practical local setting is a complex and long-

agencies and citizens - Community policing
• Full name: Inspiring CitizeNS Participation for Enhanced
Community PoliCing AcTions
• Duration: 36 Months (May 2015 – April 2018)
• Scope: Develop a sustainable framework for Community
Policing that effectively addresses and promotes seamless
collaboration between the police and the community.

Lessons Learnt
• Value of ICT and social media clearly recognised – role of
technology in driving engagement
• ICT and social media will not reach all community members
• Organisational context (e.g., commitment, resources), training, and
maintaining data privacy are important
• Nature of CP is changing
