Rise in workplace stress  Over half of the global business population (53.8%) have experienced an appreciable rise in their workplace stress over the last two years
Rise in workplace stress  More than one fifth of business people internationally have experienced a severe rise in workplace stress
Top factors causing stress in the workplace Not enough administrative support Increased focus on profitability Pressure from customers for increased service  Increased focus on quarterly sales revenues Loss of good staff Risk of unemployment/business failure Aggressive competition from colleagues
Stress can provide business with real problems Reduced motivation Reduced productivity Impaired management job dissatisfaction loss of key skilled staff defection to another, less stressful, work environment Conflict between colleagues becomes more likely DAMAGE TO BOTTOM-LINE COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL RESULTS
