【 Homogenization of plastics 】
Homogenization of waste plastic is the method to restore to oil heating and
dismantling used plastics through reverse process of producing plastic products in
Petro-chemistry industry.
Thermal decomposition with low temperature is endothermic reaction system
heating wastes indirectly with low temperature (350℃ ~ 450℃) under no oxygen or low
oxygen environment and forms unstable radicals with weak linked part being
cut first and similar linkage systems being combined randomly and cut.
It consists mainly of radical reactions. Cut-off situation of combination happens
successively with energy being transferred into combined structure of organic matter
through continuous reactions, changes to substance with tiny molecular weight and
through this process clean fuel with prominent value is created as environment-friendly
resource for less generation of contaminants.

Waste plastic, used rural vinyl (color, non color), waste synthetic
rubber, life style waste plastics such ramen & cookie bags, Styrofoam,
PP, PE, PET, PS, toys, plastic cases, etc.

8. Executive Summary

In the 1990’s researches on technology of heat decomposition were actively
started as an alternative for environment-friendly processing technology of waste
plastics to minimize environmental pollution problems such as harmful gas after
incineration process and remaining substances along with the aspect to restore
energy.
Especially, the problem of economy which was been a major issue in
commercializing homogenization technology of waste plastics has been improved
to certain extent for recent international oil price hike and thus, it is becoming a big
interest again as a technology for new energy recycling.
Meanwhile, the process to recover mainly hydrogen & methane gas in the high reaction
temperature over 1100℃ is called fusion gasification process and homogenization technology
of thermal decomposition for waste plastics can be called liquidation process of restoring most
of decomposition materials into liquid recycling oil.
Therefore, if a commercialized plant is performed successfully and get to start main
production of recycled oil, it can restrict the consumption of limited natural resources,
minimize environmental pollution source and can be the way to economize social cost
in using waste resource and reduce environmental burden.
