Purdue University Institute for Global Security and Defense Innovation launches Industry Consortium.

1. In December 2016,Purdue University held the Global Security
and Defense Symposium that established the institute for
Global Security and Defense Innovation (iGSDI),an organization
dedicated to helping solve the complex defense problems of
the 21st Century.
THE CONSORTIUM
A primary goal of iGSDI is to create a consortium of
organizations from the government and industry defense
community,coupled with Purdue University’s world class
expertise in the areas of science,engineering and policy
to create a collaborative environment for solving defense
problems and producing solutions.
WHY JOIN?
Working together,Consortium members work with Purdue
innovators to uncover the most pressing requirements and
organize the synergistic capacity.Together these entities
generate the momentum to solve our toughest defense
challenges. By joining the consortium your business can
be part of this exchange. The consortium can provide a

allow access to current and relevant defense technology,
procurement and policy issues,and it can provide a feedback

MISSION
The Institute will converge Purdue’s interdisciplinary
resources to bring timely,responsive and transformative
solutions to the most pressing security and defense
challenges facing the nation and the world.

2. DEFENSE CREDENTIALING AND CERTIFICATION
PROGRAM (DCCP) SERVICE
Another benefit to joining iGSDI is access to the Defense
Credentialing and Certification Program. This is a program
that will implement a system to evaluate,qualify,and audit
defense suppliers. By joining the consortium,DCCP benefits
will increase your qualifications ensuring that you meet
technical compliance and help you submit a winning bid.
Additional DCCP features and services are:
4 Implements a system to evaluate,qualify,and audit
defense suppliers through a tiered rating system
4 Standardizes supplier’s processes
4 Assists suppliers in meeting required credentialing and
regulations (i.e.FAR,DFAR,ITAR) and certifications
(i.e.ISO 9001,AS 9100)
4 Improve supply chain optimization
4 Growth consultancy services
4 Energy assessment and optimization projects
WHY PURDUE?

Purdue ecosystem,and facilitate the transition of
human capital (our students) to defense/security partners.
4 Exemplify agility by building a dedicated,responsive
team that uses management and contracting expertise
to provide flawless program execution and fulfill
mission needs.
4 Demonstrate Purdue’s“Strategic Intent”to government
and industry stakeholders,showing that we will
partner and execute on major challenges with
appropriate security,IP sensitivity,and speed.

Membership fees are based upon company size. Bring us your
ideas and your innovations and we will introduce them to our
network of Defense and academic partners. We will setup and
