Hi my name is ___________________ and I am __________________ with Concurrency. I would like to Welcome all of you to the __________________event. We have some very exciting information to share with you today and know you will get a lot out of your investment today.
Just out of curiosity, a quick show of hands, for how many of you is this your first Concurrency Event? Excellent! Well thanks for coming, we are glad you are here. And for those of your that are returning, thank you for your continued support. You are obviously finding value in these events we are glad you are hear as well.
Before we get started I just wanted to provide a high level overview of our core belief here at Concurrency, and that is we exist to help our clients find better ways to leverage technology to fulfill their strategies and improve their businesses.
The trends we continue to see is how our clients are looking to transform the way they are working with their Customers, Partners, and empowering their workforce by using Cloud and AI services to drive up productivity but also enhancing the customer experience. What really excites us about this is the ability to leverage our ideation, innovation framework mappings, and operational expertise to guide our clients through these transformations and business opportunities.
We engage in long-term relationships with our clients to help them realize more value from the IT Investments and to guide their digital maturation. The way we do that is by helping them the Strategy, Implementation, and providing support services after the deployment is completed. But the other thing our clients appreciate is the fact that with all of our engagements, we always ensure that key pillars of People, Process, and the Technology are properly addressed to ensure our clients get the best return and utilization of their IT and Business investment.
So the way we assist our clients with this transformation are all really centered around 5 core pillars
But before I get into those 5 core Pillars, as a foundation for all of our services, all of our engagements will always address the 3 critical areas of all successful projects. We always want to make sure that the People, Process, and the Technology are equally addressed to help you will obtain the maximum business value out of each solution we partner with you on to implement.
I also to point out that with each one of the service offerings, we assist our clients with the Strategy Development, Implementation, and Support as needed by our clients in order to help them be successful.
Modern IT Management – We believe that IT really shouldn’t be a cost center that supports the business. We believe that IT is now a source of revenue growth as well as a strategic asset in optimizing each organizations bottom line. Our Modern IT Management Service Group consists of Strategic Business Consulting Group, Our PMO with certified Scrum Masters, and ITSM Architects that help you with your Business Strategies, Business Outcomes, but more importantly Organizational Change Management helping you with Change Management, Impact Analysis, Process-Re-Engineering, Communication Management, and of course Knowledge Transfer. They are looking out for the People and Process side of all of our engagements.
Cloud Data Center – Within this service offering we are focused on guiding our clients through the transformation of their data center solutions that enhances their agility and improves their efficiency to better serve their business. Whether it is building Cloud Assessments & Road Maps and then helping our clients migrate targeted workloads to the cloud, spin up new services like DevTest Labs in Azure as a more cost effective option to help with your testing environments, optimizing their infrastructure by adding in automation and right sizing their VMS, doing monitoring tool evaluations and finding solutions to centralize your monitoring approach, as well as to providing better security and identity management for your enterprise.
Customer Engagement – The services that sit within this service offering include Customer facing solutions that help with employee productivity and collaboration, but also build on customer retention and loyalty. Just a few examples of this would be how we assist our clients maximize that value out of their 0365 investment with Exchange Online for messaging, SharePoint Online for Modern Intranets and Extranets, Skype for Business for collaboration, as well as OneDrive for modern file sharing and Yammer for internal Social communications. But this group also helps our clients with modern business process automation like workflow automation, employee onboarding, and AP automation to name a few.
Modern Applications – This is probably one of the most exciting services within Concurrency. The reason I say that is because of the amount of transformation and business impact this can have on our customers business. This is a group of Designers, Architects, and Developers that truly understanding how to leverage technology that delivers revolutionary business outcomes. Whether it is helping rebuild a more modern mobile responsive business application that needs to leverage a more modern identity management solution, building out an end to end IoT strategy for your organization that optimizes operational efficiency or possibly a new revenue generation stream for your business, or leveraging cloud services and Machine learning to find an algorithms with one of our Data Scientists that can improve your business possibly helping you save or make millions of dollars, it is certainly a transformative service offering. If that is of interest for you, I would welcome the opportunity to set up meeting at a later time to discuss some of the projects we have helped others with and see how they might apply to your business.
Data & Analytics – The ability to centralize your data, provide that data in a meaningful and timely way, as well as ensuring that it also provides actionable data insights, is what this team is all about. Whether it is partnering with our clients on more modern data warehouse techniques by leveraging a tabular model, helping centralize data in a data lake and then creating modern customized self-service reporting portals leveraging PowerBI, or working closely the infrastructure groups to help centralize their monitoring data to provide better insight to their systems and solutions they are overseeing, as its all about getting out in front of problems before they happen.
One thing I believe is important to note is that we weave Cyber Security into all for our solutions. Security just cant be a standalone approach. Many of these solutions I just talked about have their own layer of security and it is important how we help educate what those security services are and how they fit into your overall Security Program you may have. If you don’t have a Security Program today, that is also certainly something we help with.
As I mentioned before we also offer Premier + Operations Support Services for those customers that are running very lean on support staff to support the solutions we implement for them but we also provide a more affordable with comparable support to Microsoft Premier Support. These are few other examples of ways we help protect and support out customers.
Does that help provide a high level overview of who is Concurrency and how help our clients?
Did you have any specific questions as it relates to any one of the individual pillars?
Time Consuming
-Large Scale Initiatives take time to develop and implement
- Meetings, Processes, Infrastucture
High Cost
- Servers, Software Licensing, Skilled Resources
Skilled Resources

Modern Enterprise BI (at the speed of Business)
BI Models (End User, Self Service, Corporate)
Modern Visualization Tools
Business users are the heaviest report authors and data mungers out there, any business intelligence solution needs to make sure it includes those users so that maximum potential can be realized.
Companies should be maximizing the analysis and consumption of data to gain faster traction an
Data has been growing exponentially, and it is more important now then ever before that companies leverage that and be able to analyze and produce actionable insights.
IDC – International Data Corporation
Rapid Development, Data Analysis and the pace of innovation are becoming huge differentiators between companies. Those that embrace the change, continue to dominate, those that don't, fail.
Thankfully we have many tools to choose from
Challenges for Business, walk through each
If only there was a tool that could help alleviate this challenges… that’s a bit forshadowing there
Is there a tool that has a common language, can reduce or remove manual work, consolidate sprawl and remove IT Bottlenecks
Key message:
Business intelligence, or BI, has come a long way.
During the first two “waves” of business intelligence, IT professionals and business analysts were the keepers of BI. They made BI accessible and consumable for end users.
While this approach still applies to complex business intelligence needs, today there is a new “wave”.
This third wave of BI makes BI available to every kind of user.
Talking points:
Today we’re going to discuss Power BI, which is a third-wave solution. Power BI enables EVERYONE to collect, analyze, visualize and publish data.
Existing analytics platforms and tools can be extended, instead of being replaced, by full-featured solutions like Power BI.
Power BI directly connects to existing on-premises data, such as Analysis Services tabular models that were created by business analysts in collaboration with IT.
Microsoft Excel and the new Power BI Desktop work hand-in-hand with Power BI, publishing reports and models created by business analysts and getting them more easily in the hands of the business users who can gain insight and take action.
Microsoft provides the most complete modern BI solution in the industry, meeting the needs of all users across your organization.
