The new regional program
Sustainable and climate sensitive land use for
Economic Development in Central Asia
Module outcome: Land user groups, NGOs and the private sector in
Central Asia are promoting the implementation of integrative, climate-
sensitive and economically viable land-use approaches.
Output A: Elaboration of integrative land management regulations: In the
context of sector reform processes, key actors from different sectors
support the integration of diverse land-use forms on the basis of
international environmental conventions.
Output B: Implementation of integrative land management approaches: In
selected countries of Central Asia, the conditions for a broad-based
implementation of integrative land use approaches are improved.

Output C: Networking and mainstreaming: The capacities of actors in
Central Asia in terms of integrative land-use forms have been
strengthened
Output D: Economic Valuation: Approaches for capturing economic value
of renewable natural resources are implemented on a pilot basis in
selected countries of Central Asia.
