Explanation (1)


Leader – is the one who organizes the
group of people to achieve a common goal
and a person capable of inspiring them to
changes



Reward – stimulus for people to change,
renovate, move forward, as it is advantage,
benefit resulting from some event or action



Strategy and Business Process Reengineering – they act as a reason for
change. If company’s choosing another way
or process to produce goods and services
everything should be in alignment with this
new strategy

considered there might be some better
alternatives
Or person have tried to change a
number of times without success and
he/she has become demoralized by
the whole process

Contemplation

Person is aware of the benefits of
change but is also aware of the costs.
This balance between the costs and
benefits of changing can keep person
stuck in this stage for long periods of
time
 So he/she is deciding whether stay with
his/her existing behaviors and attitudes
or should try to change to something


Person is taking steps to change
 He / She has a plan of action, has
checked out what strategies or
resources are available, consulting the
experts – taking the small steps
towards the change


Individual modifies his/her behavior,
experiences, or environment in order
to change
 Action requires considerable
commitment of resources

The goal of the maintenance stage is
to maintain the new status quo
 The change has been integrated into
the person’s life
 People work to prevent relapse and
consolidate the gains attained during

is returning to the old
behavior and abandoning the new

 This is not inevitable and should not

  1. Many of you probably mentioned that the older we become the faster is time running and it seems like what we see around us is changing faster and faster.   2. Probably, this slide is more oriented on boys than on girls. But everyone remembers Sega Games, first PlayStation, then Second, Third, PSP, new Wii games. But even 30 years ago those things were probably only in Science Fiction movies and books.
  3. I didn’t find the real abacas, but for those who has no idea what is it – here’s the picture. And yes, in Russia, Ukraine and probably somewhere else we still use them to count, whereas there are not only normal calculators, but also Graphic, Scientific and many others. The change from Abacas to calculator is impressing. All those inventions were produced because the world needed the changes. But nowadays society understands clearly that every changed should better be managed.

You are optimistic about a good outcome because you have choices. Stage 5 - UnderstandingIn Stage 5, you understand the change and are more confident, think pragmatically, and your behavior is much more productive. Good thing. Stage 6 - IntegrationBy this time, you have regained your ability and willingness to be flexible. You have insight into the ramifications, consequences and rewards of the change -- past, present, and future.
