7. Shepherds appointed by God to lead His church,
should do so with passion and care. As they
minister to God’s flock, they must study the
Word, listen for the Lord’s counsel, and obey His
commands. In doing so, they will lead a life of
faithfulness, integrity, and honor.
“But as for you, O man of God, flee these things.
Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
steadfastness, gentleness” (1Timothy 6:11
ESV).
