Traditional street lamp lighting adopts simple wired circuit control, which has disadvantages such
as difficult installation, high maintenance cost, and high power consumption.
Most of the smart street lighting systems use wireless smart control and unified management on
the cloud platform. Its emergence solves most of the shortcomings of traditional street lamp
lighting systems. With the development of the times, it will eventually replace traditional street
lamp lighting systems.
At present, intelligent applications are emerging one after another, and there are also numerous
solutions for intelligent street lighting systems. ZigBee has also poured into it. With the

Introduction to ZigBee Technology

Scheme framework
The system consists of four parts: terminal street light node part, router street light node part,
coordinator street light node part, and cloud server part.
Cloud Server
The data collection point of all street lamp information can monitor the status of all street lamps
through the network and issue instructions.
Coordinator street light node
Network maintenance of ZigBee antenna street lamp nodes (router street lamp nodes and
terminal street lamp nodes) in an area, and collect all street lamp status information in the area,
upload it to the cloud server through GPRS or send the control information issued by the cloud
server to GPRS to The corresponding nodes in this area play a real-time control role. At the same
time, it controls and collects data on the street lights at its own location.
Router street light node
The auxiliary coordinator street lamp node controls the terminal street lamp nodes around the
terminal. At the same time, it controls and collects data on the street lights at its own location.
Upload to the coordinator or receive commands issued by the coordinator to perform related
operations.

ZigBee antenna smart lighting features
Convenient unified management
ZigBee antenna aggregates the street lamp node data in the same management area network to
the coordinator on intelligent lighting and then uploads it to the server by the GPRS module on
the main board of the coordinator, and the server uniformly monitors and manages the status of
the street lights.
Automatic system maintenance
The street light part of the whole system is built with a ZigBee antenna network, with network
self-healing and automatic networking functions.
When a certain or a few street lamp nodes fail to disconnect the network in the middle, it will
re-search for the surrounding available networks and automatically join the network to ensure
the integrity and self-healing of the entire network.
The cloud server can perform real-time monitoring of the entire network, which doubles as a
guarantee for the stability of the entire system.
Easy to install
Each non-coordinator street light node is composed of a ZigBee node (CTRF-AP-2450-13190-SMA
or CTRF-AP-2450-13198-SMA) + lighting control circuit, and the coordinator street light node is
composed of a ZigBee node (such as CTRF-FPC-2450-3810-UFL100 or
CTRF-PCB-2450-4212-UFL120) + GPRS module + lighting control circuit, The system is low in cost,
simple in structure, easy to install and maintain.
