smart LIGHTING work?
The basic equipment for smart LIGHTING
comprises the gateway and a smart
LIGHTING luminaire.
Additionally, your household also needs a
WLAN router and an iOS/Android tablet,
a smartphone or an iPod Touch (iOS 7 or
higher/Android 4.2 or higher), on which
the free OSRAM lightify® App* is installed.
You need an internet connection if you
want to control your lighting or save your
settings remotely as well.
The App controls up to 50 luminaires.

Die Basisausstattung für eine smarte
Beleuchtung besteht aus dem Gateway
und einer smart LIGHTING Leuchte.

The protection rating ensures the operational safety of lumi-
naires. The first number specifies the extent of the protection
against the ingress of foreign bodies; the second number identi-
fies the humidity protection grade. All luminaires in this catalo-
gue are at least protected with the rating IP20 – a higher rating
is specified in the information box of the luminaire.

The colours of the LED are represented as pictogrammes (see be-
low), their luminous flux directly beneath. The luminous flux is
quoted in lumen and describes the amount of light generated by
the LED. The higher the value, the brighter is the lamp.
