JOB SATISFACTION
Human resource is considerer to be the most valuable asset in any organization. It is the sum-total
of inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills represented by the talents and aptitudes of the
employed persons who comprise executives, supervisors and the rank and file employees. It may
be noted here that human resource should be utilized to the maximum possible extent, in order to
achieve individual and organizational goals. It is thus the employee’s performance, which
ultimately decides, and attainment of goals. However, the employee performance is to a large
extent, influenced by motivation and job satisfaction
Job satisfaction survey can give the most valuable information the perceptions and causes. For
satisfaction/dissatisfaction among the employees attitude towards job satisfaction may be either
positive or negative. This positive feeling can be re-in forced and negative feelings can be
rectified. This survey can be treated as the most effective and efficient way, which makes the
workers to express their inner and real feelings undoubtedly

organization, citizenship, absenteeism turnover. Job satisfaction can partially mediate the relationship of personality
variable and deviant work behavior. Common research finding is that job satisfaction is correlated with life style. The
correlation is reciprocal meaning the people who are satisfied with the life tend sot is satisfied with their jobs and the
people who are satisfied their jobs trends to satisfied with their life. This is vital piece of information that is job
satisfaction and job performance is directly to one another. Thus it can be said that “a happy worker is a productive
worker.” It gives clear evidence that dissatisfied employee skip work more often and more like to resign and satisfied
worker likely to work longer with the organization.

Job satisfaction and occupational success are major factor in personal satisfaction self-respect self-esteem and self-
development to the worker job satisfaction brings a pleasurable emotional state that can often leads to a positive work
attitude. A satisfied worker is more likely to be creative flexible innovative and loyal. For the organization job
satisfaction of its workers means a work force that it is motivated and committed to high quality performance.
Increased productivity. The quality and quality of output per hour worked seems to be a byproduct of improved quality
of working life. It is important to note that the literature on the relationship between job satisfaction and productivity is
neither conclusive nor consistent. However studies dating back to Herzberg (1957) hace shown at least low correlation
between high morale and high productivity and it does seems logical that more satisfied workers will tend to add more
value to an organization. Job satisfiaction benefits the oranisation include reduction in complaints and grievances

By analyzing the data on research of employee 60 % of the respondents are satisfied by
the working condition of the organization. Whereas 38% of the employees are
dissatisfied by the working condition of the organization.
By doing research on employees of the organization 62% are satisfied with the
job security. In case of dissatisfaction 34% are dissatisfied with the job security
In case of salary and wages 67% of respondents are satisfied and 31% are
dissatisfied.
In compensation case the respondents are 57% are satisfied whereas 42 %
are dissatisfied
71% are satisfied with the opportunites of promotion and 19% are dissatisfied
with opportunites of promotion.

CONCLUSION
To conclude we can say that employees job satisfaction is very important part
of organization . Most of the employees are satisfied with the working
condition. Employees are satisfied with the training and development
programme which help the employees to improve working skills and help
them to achieve organization goals which is benefited for both Respondent and
company gives priority to the employees welfare.
Overall the Employees are satisfied with the working conditions of the
Ambuja Cement.

20. LIMITATIONS
. The survey was conducted in 15-20 days which was a
constraint.
Respondents are hesitating to answer.
The sample size was limited to 60.

Need to focus more on training and development programme .
Need to design more attractive compensatition packages.
