Ted Talk evaluation presentation : Adam Savage By Adan Cebollero ADaM Savage How did the speaker capture the attention of the audience in his or her introduction? Adam captured the attention of the audience by specking of the NY times article that said a stash of DODO bird bones where found in the island of Mauritius. Which of the ten TED Commandments does the speaker best follow? How/why? I feel Adam used TED second Commandment: Show us the real you. Evaluate the speaker in terms of dynamism from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest). What could the speaker have done to increase his/her dynamism? In Dynamism I give him a 5 of 5 What tips were used from Garr Reynolds or Nancy Duarte? Naturalism was what I found to help the most. What have you learned about delivery based upon watching your presenter? What I learned about delivery is if one has a good story to go with your speech then the audience will listen. Compare and contrast your speaker to Sir Ken Robinson from the two videos you watched (“Schools Kill Creativity” and “Changing Education Paradigms.”) Adam Savage approach is more modern in the séance that he uses visual aids and tells more of story than a speech to get the message through to the audience They are both very good public speaker But Sir Ken Robinson speech lacked little energy compered to Adam Savage speech that had more energy.
