of an open course in the context of higher education.

The first of four sections dealt with
the theoretical approach of Learning
2.0. Besides the concept of connectivism, the idea of Personal Learning
Environments (PLEs) was discussed.

The impact of the social web on personal
lifes were focused in the third section of
the SOOCs. In addition to data security as
a central aspect, open educational resources were discussed.

In the second section, participants
were encouraged to rethink their
personal knowledge management
and to experiment with new tools
for this purpose.

The use of social media in business and institutional organizations shaped the fourth section. Besides the developments in the professional training
sector, perspectives of Learning 2.0 for higher
education were critically discussed including the
benefits and risks of MOOCs in this domain.

In addition to data security as a central aspect, open educational resources were discussed. Besides the developments in the professional training sector, perspectives of Learning 2.0 for higher education were critically discussed including the benefits and risks of MOOCs in this domain.
