ALL PRAISE IS DUE TO ALLAH
 In the beginning Allah, praises His Holy Self at the beginning and end of
matters, for He is the One to be praised in all circumstances, all praise and
thanks be to Him, in the beginning and in the end.
 We are to remember that Allah, who informs us of Himself being AR-RAH-
MAA-N – (the Most Beneficient, or exceedingly Gracious, Most
Compassionate )
- “Should He not then be praised?”
- “Isn’t we human has the innate primordial instinct to be appreciative,
capable of being grateful, being thankful, expressing it through praise?
- “How do you praise?
- To worship Allah is to acknowledge with gratefulness, His Praiseworthiness.

HE (ALLAH) WHO SENT DOWN (REVELATION)

THE BOOK (AL-QUR’AN)

ITS CONTENT (AL-QUR’AN) : THERE IS NO
CROOKEDNESS, NEITHER DEVIANCY NOR
INCONSISTENCIES – IT IS FLAWLESS
MIRACLE
 He has made it a Book that is straight, neither distorted norHe has made it a Book that is straight, neither distorted nor

UPRIGHT, PROFOUNDLY DIRECT -
 It is amazing that the termIt is amazing that the term QAY-YEEMAQAY-YEEMA – from the root :– from the root :
stand still or firm, rose/stand up,
managed/conducted/ordered/regulated/superintended,
established, made it straight/right,
maintain/erect/observe/perform, set up,
people/community/company, abode, stature/dignity/rank.
AQAMA - to keep a thing or an affair in a right state.
QAF-WAW-MIM

TO WARN OF THE SEVERE
PUNISHMENT FROM HIM
 This aspect –This aspect – WARNINGWARNING of a terrible punishment - demonstrateof a terrible punishment - demonstrate
the Mercy, the concern of Allah to us; to be careful from having tothe Mercy, the concern of Allah to us; to be careful from having to
face Hisface His JUSTICEJUSTICE, which although stipulates reward, but also, which although stipulates reward, but also

 As life is a test, we the Believers are required to strive withAs life is a test, we the Believers are required to strive with
Patience and Constancy in this world. We have to endure trialsPatience and Constancy in this world. We have to endure trials
and tribulations; sometimes affected with doubts and despair;and tribulations; sometimes affected with doubts and despair;

AND TO CONVEY THE GLADTIDINGS,
(INDEED CLEAR DIVINE ASSURANCE)
OF EVERLASTING REWARD
FOR THE BELIEVERS
WHO DO RIGHTEOUS DEEDS
 Allah SWT, gave us thisAllah SWT, gave us this AL-AL-QUR’ANQUR’AN, so meticulously well-preserved,, so meticulously well-preserved,
not only as the Book of Guidance, but it is the greatest source ofnot only as the Book of Guidance, but it is the greatest source of
solace and assurance available to motivate and inspire us Muslimssolace and assurance available to motivate and inspire us Muslims
to strive in life, through strengthening ofto strive in life, through strengthening of IIMANIIMAN (Faith; believe,(Faith; believe,
conviction) withconviction) with ‘AMALAN SWOLIHAH‘AMALAN SWOLIHAH (Righteous deeds)(Righteous deeds)
 And Allah SWT never break His Promises.And Allah SWT never break His Promises.

“ …“ … and also to warn those who say: "Allah hasand also to warn those who say: "Allah has
taken to Himself a son, they have no knowledgetaken to Himself a son, they have no knowledge
of it, nor had their fathers; a grievous word it isof it, nor had their fathers; a grievous word it is

leaders have replaced this with their concept of the ‘original sin’ ,

mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”

 We, as followers of this Last Prophet too must feel with him towardsWe, as followers of this Last Prophet too must feel with him towards
those who have not been “guided upon the Way of our Lord”.those who have not been “guided upon the Way of our Lord”.
 If you love Allah and His Messenger s.a.a.w., then we have to be asIf you love Allah and His Messenger s.a.a.w., then we have to be as
concern for all mankind as he. Help inconcern for all mankind as he. Help in DA’WAH ISLAAMIYAH.DA’WAH ISLAAMIYAH.

““Indeed, We have made that which is on theIndeed, We have made that which is on the
earth adornmentearth adornment for itfor it that We may test themthat We may test them
[as to] which of them is[as to] which of them is best in deedbest in deed.”.”

THE REALITY OF LIFE ON EARTH

-Man given Limited freewil and choice – so as to
manifest God’s Justice
- Whether this worldly glitters of its adornment can
detract and distract man of his Faith
-So believe and trust in God and the Hereafter

THE REALITY OF LIFE ON EARTH

- IT WILL ALL BE TOTALLY DESTROYED

YA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAAYA ROB-BANAA’- TA-ROF- NAA
BI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAABI- AN-NA-NAQ –TA-ROF- NAA
O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,O our Lord! We do admit earnestly,
that we have committed sins (excesses).that we have committed sins (excesses).

WA- AN-NA-NAA - AS-ROF-NAA
‘A-LAL- LA –ZO ASH-ROF-NAA
And we have exceeded the bounds, such that
we know we deserve the punishment.

FA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAAFA- TUB- ‘ALAY - NAA - TAW-BAA
TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA –TAGH-SI-LU -KUL- LA – HHAW-BAAAW-BAA
(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,(Therefore O Allah, we beg You to) Accept our repentance,
Such that (Your acceptance of it) washes awaySuch that (Your acceptance of it) washes away
all our faults (and wrong-doings)all our faults (and wrong-doings)

WAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TIWAS-TUR – LA-NAL - ‘AU-RAA-TI
WA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TIWA- AA-MI-NIR - RAU- ‘AA - TI
And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,And cover for us whatever that may bring upon us shame,
And grant us peace (security) from things which causeAnd grant us peace (security) from things which cause
us to be afraid.us to be afraid.

WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,WAGH- FIR - LI-WAA - LI- DEE - NAA,
ROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAAROB-BI - WA- MAU - LU-DEE - NAA
And forgive the sins of all our parents,And forgive the sins of all our parents,
And all our siblings / children - O Lord!And all our siblings / children - O Lord!

WAL- AH-LI –WAL - IWAL- AH-LI –WAL - IKHKH - WAA-NI,- WAA-NI,
WA-SAA- IRIL-WA-SAA- IRIL- KHKHI - LAA-NII - LAA-NI
And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,And all the family members and all our brothers/sisters,
And all our loyal acquaintances .And all our loyal acquaintances .

WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA-WA – KUL - LI – DzEE - MA- HHAB - BAAB - BA
AU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUAU- JEE –RO-TIN - AU- SwUHH - BA- BA
And everyone who possesses love towards us,And everyone who possesses love towards us,
And all of our neighbours and companions.And all of our neighbours and companions.

WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’WAL- MUS – LI – MEE -NA - AJ -MA’
