Digital Marketing is the promotion of brands using all forms of
digital advertising channels to reach consumers.
This now includes television, radio, Internet, mobile, social
media marketing and all other forms of digital media. Digital
Marketing is a new and powerful medium.
In this specialization, you will focus on new and emerging
Digital Media, Search Engines, Search Engine Optimization,
Display Advertising, Websites, Mobile Marketing and MCommerce. You will also be given extensive training on Digital
branding which will include Online Marketing, usage patterns
and Consumer Behavior.
You will focus on the use of advanced digital media for
marketing, including digital newspapers and directories, DTH,
IPTV, Mobile TV and Satellite & Community radio. You will
progress to develop an in-depth understanding of the usage of
digital technologies in business models with revenue streams.
You will also learn convergence processes and ICE
(information, communication & entertainment trends) and gain
an understanding of legal issues in digital marketing.
Research and Analytics

Marketing research is the systematic gathering, recording and analysis
of data about issues relating to marketing products and services. The
goal of marketing research is to identify and assess impact of changing
elements of marketing mix on customer behaviour.
Research & Analytics is very high potential employment opportunity
segment in the new business environment.
You will learn how to capture data relevant for making business
decisions and study techniques of implementing suitable research. You
will be introduced to various research methodologies, statistical
concepts and quantitative techniques. You will also be introduced to
various qualitative methods, data analysis and the use of various
analytical tools. You will also be trained to interpret the research data
and generate reliable forecasts as well as to apply statistical techniques

Integrated marketing communication (IMC) is a cross-functional process
for creating and nourishing profitable relationships with customers and
other stakeholders by strategically controlling or influencing all
messages sent to these groups and encouraging data-driven,
purposeful dialogue with them.
Branding is a complex process, but its goal is simple. It is the creation
and development of a specific identity for a company, product,
commodity, group or person.
Designed to create competent professionals in this sub-profession. The
programmes focus on communication, its various medium & creating a
communication plan. It covers carrying out activities of brand planning,
role of media and different types of media used in creating campaigns.
This module will also train you to manage product launches, sales
promotions and customer life cycle.
You will learn to develop promotional campaigns and build abilities in
managing media. You will learn to define media objectives and
comprehend concepts of reach and frequency along with media
planning, scheduling and buying. You will also develop skills in Event
Planning and Management, Public Relations, Sales Promotion and the
use of interactive media.

Branding is a complex process, but its goal is simple. It is the creation and development of a specific identity for a company, product, commodity, group or person. Designed to create competent professionals in this sub-profession. The programmes focus on communication, its various medium & creating a communication plan. It covers carrying out activities of brand planning, role of media and different types of media used in creating campaigns. This module will also train you to manage product launches, sales promotions and customer life cycle. You will learn to develop promotional campaigns and build abilities in managing media. You will learn to define media objectives and comprehend concepts of reach and frequency along with media planning, scheduling and buying. You will also develop skills in Event Planning and Management, Public Relations, Sales Promotion and the use of interactive media.
