3. What is Religion?
It's the relationship between the Creator and the Created for
those who believe in Divinity.
Others may consider it as an acceptable system in society by a
group of people.
Frankly does it matter?
Better consider its implications, how it came about.
History dictates that when in Society there is wide spread
mischief, there rises a Man of noble virtue whom people
recognize without dispute. They go to him for advice and to
resolve their day to day issues. He then announces to his very
close associates, a simple method for a Good Life that
encompasses Society in General which is realistic and fair.
Those in power who may lose some of their authority and
privileges, may despise and oppose his preaching.
Among others who oppose are those who are jealous, arrogant,
wicked and ignorant. History is very clear on this. When you
examine the teachings of these Undisputed Masters one will
ïnd remarkable similarities and a unanimous conclusion that
all are from one source; but over time it has got Distorted due to:
01
4. 1. Wrong Understanding
2. Information lost in Time
3. Incorrect translation
4. Rivalry among disciples
5. Unable to correctly relate Teachings with changing
Circumstances
6. Illusion of correctness based on majority acceptance and not
on the authority of Worthy Followers who shun the lime light.
7. Powerful inïuence by the State even using threat
8. Historical Settings at the time the passing away of the masters
& immediately thereafter including administrative
technological situation, competence of disciples and the
receptiveness of the State for the New Master.
What is the Best Religion?
A beautiful reasoning is given below
Your religion is not important
Jun 3rd, 2010 by Bernie Schreck
A brief dialogue between the Brazilian theologist Leonardo Boff
and the Dalai Lama, which deeply touched me.
02
5. Here is what Leonardo, one of the renovators of the Theology of
Freedom, recounts of this remarkable encounter:
In a round table discussion about religion and freedom in which
Dalai Lama and myself were participating at recess I
maliciously, and also with interest, asked him: âYour holiness,
what is the best religion?â
I thought he would say: âThe Tibetan Buddhismâ or âThe
oriental religions, much older than Christianity.â
The Dalai Lama paused, smiled and looked me in the eyes...
Which surprised me because I knew of the malice contained in
my question.
He answered:
âThe best religion is the one that gets you
closest to God.
It is the one that makes you a better person.â
To get out of my embarrassment with such a wise answer, I
asked:
âWhat is it that makes me better?â
03
6. He responded:
âWhatever makes you
more compassionate,
more sensible,
more detached,
more loving,
more humanitarian,
more responsible,
more ethical.â
âThe religion that will do that for you is the best religionâ
I was silent for a moment, marveling and even today thinking of
his wise and irrefutable response:
âI am not interested, my friend, about your religion or if you are
religious or not.
âWhat really is important to me is your behavior in front of your
peers, family, work, community, and in front of the world.
âRemember, the universe is the echo of our actions and our
thoughts.â
âThe law of action and reaction is not exclusively for physics. It is
also of human relations. If I act with goodness, I will receive
goodness. If I act with evil, I will get evil.â
04
7. âWhat our grandparents told us is the pure truth. You will always
have what you desire for others. Being happy is not a matter of
destiny. It is a matter of options.â
Finally he said:
inally he said:
âTake care of your Thoughts because they become Words.
Take care of your Words because they will become Actions.
Take care of your Actions because they will become Habits.
Take care of your Habits because they will form your Character.
Take care of your Character because it will form your Destiny,
and your Destiny will be your Life⊠and...
âThere is no religion higher than the Truth.â
What is the Final Religion?
The beautiful irrefutable reasoning above is complimented by the
following FACTS:
05
8. To Act and Practice in what is said you need a set of simple
Rules as something in one society which is considered Good
may be considered Rude; Similarly from Food, to Behavior,
Relationships, Rules when conïicts arise etc all need to be
addressed by Religion as by deïnition man is not Perfect and
bound to err.
Thus the following will help one understand the Final
RELIGION!
1. The Religion itself will say it is the Final Religion.
2. It will not dispute any other Religion, except it will say all
come from one source, and give a acid test to checkout the
TRUTH from the FALSE
3. Prior Religions will indicate of a Final Messenger to Come.
4. The only reason of a Final Messenger to come will be
because the older Instructions could have been lost over time,
and it would have been for those People during that Time.
5. The set of Instructions will be indestructible, free of error
and with a challenge to prove it wrong or to produce one like
it.
06
9. 6. It will be adoptable in every society and every instance and
time and will be clear and very simple, and ïexible to meet the
needs., including commerce, international affairs, human
rights, animal rights, family, society, war, peace, believers,
unbelievers, the weak the orphan the poor etc; The Oppressed &
even the Oppressor.
7. You need not be intelligent to understand the basics.
8. It will be concise yet contain so much information it will
continue to fascinate Man who will be stuck with Awe
9. The Person and the People from whom the Rest of
Humanity will learn will be the most unlikely people any
human can imagine.
10. The example of the Final Messenger will also be a
example to all living Being.
11. All messengers will speak well of other messengers, and the
Final One will be unbelievably Merciful, and Perfect in every
Human Way, living a full life as an example, that every person
can follow
12. The Faithful will not worship Created Things or use them as
intermediaries.
07
10. 13. The Purpose of life will be well understood and they will live a life of
Tolerance with Morality and Protect the weak and Innocent people will
be safe from Cruelty, unfairness and Deceit
14. Like you cannot judge a car by its driver, religion cannot be judged
by its followers. Only by its scriptures & the character & practices of its
messenger.

Surely The TRUTH will Dawn on US ALL eventually

Christianity
1. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into
all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He
shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto
you. John 16:12-14

1. "There is another great prohibition which I declare to you: An
ordained disciple must not boast of any superhuman perfection.
The disciple who with evil intent and from covetousness boasts of
a superhuman perfection, be it celestial visions or miracles, is no
longer a disciple of the Sakyamuni. I forbid you, O bhikkhus, to
employ any spells or supplications, for they are useless, since the
law of karma governs all things. He who attempts to perform
miracles has not understood the doctrine of the Tathagata
2. I am not the ïrst Buddha who came upon this Earth, nor shall I be
the last. The truth is our hope and comfort. All the Buddhas are one
in essence, Some form their Dharma arbitrarily and fabricate it
artiïcially;
09
12. they advance complex speculations and imagine that good results
are attainable only by the acceptance of their theories; yet the truth
is but one; there are not different truths in the world. All the
Buddhas teach the same truth. They point out the path to those
who go astray.
