WHY THIS EVENT
Corporate Social Responsibility has become a
core requirement of business across industries
and sectors. Society and governments have
an expectation that business should produce
social value at the same time as shareholder
value, and can quickly punish those who don’t
meet expectations. This program will enable
participants to understand CSR as a strategic
competitive advantage, creating value for their
company and shareholders while simultaneously
creating value for communities and other
stakeholders. Participants will leave with an
understanding of the growing social demands
on business and how they can be managed to
create shareholder and societal value.

… an excellent learning experience for
me… The CSR program is a top of the range

companies, to International organizations
such IFC or UNDP).
Aminata Ly FAYE, Trade Commissioner,

The instructors managed to convey, in a
succinct manner, the variety of practical
problems likely to be faced by stakeholders
in discharging their CSR obligations in the
African business settings. It was also very
useful to meet practitioners from different
parts of Africa describing the challenges and
rewards of their work. Unquestionably this
course is excellent for both the neophytes
and the veterans of the CSR World. WELL
DONE!!

As a member of the Faculty Team for the
CSR Program, it was a pleasure to work with
such an impressive group of participants.
Their talent and interest made my role a
breeze, and participants responded with
enthusiasm to the dynamic and interactive
modules. This approach allowed participants
to learn from each other, to expand their
networks and strengthen their commitment to
CSR.
Hevina Dashwood, Associate Professor at
Brock University
… helped me reach a whole new level of
understanding of Corporate Social
Responsibility, and led to several networking
opportunities. Many of the presenters led
their talks through a seminar style, allowing
participants to break out in teams to problem
solve through real life examples, which was
highly engaging. Learning continued outside
of the classroom, following up with
classmates and further developing
relationships.
Sophia Muñoz, Business Development
Officer at Core Value Concepts
I participated in the program held last
November in Accra and it was a great
experience through and through. From the
insights gained in its top rate seminars, to
the great contacts made, good organization
and friendly delivery of the event. I look
forward to being back for the April 2014
conference.
Adam McEniry, Director Corporate
Social Responsibility at Gran Tierra
Energy
Useful, not only for CSR but for development
projects in general. Too often designers
worry about the external stakeholders,
regarding the internal ones as part of the
problem. If internal stakeholders can be
engaged, chances of both success and
sustainability are increased.
Linn Hammergren, International
Development Consultant

  • 9. www.csrtraininginstitute.com info@csrtraininginstitute.com Tel +1.250.743.7619 As a member of the Faculty Team for the CSR Program, it was a pleasure to work with such an impressive group of participants. Their talent and interest made my role a breeze, and participants responded with enthusiasm to the dynamic and interactive modules. This approach allowed participants to learn from each other, to expand their networks and strengthen their commitment to CSR. Hevina Dashwood, Associate Professor at Brock University … helped me reach a whole new level of understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility, and led to several networking opportunities. Many of the presenters led their talks through a seminar style, allowing participants to break out in teams to problem solve through real life examples, which was highly engaging. Learning continued outside of the classroom, following up with classmates and further developing relationships. Sophia Muñoz, Business Development Officer at Core Value Concepts I participated in the program held last November in Accra and it was a great experience through and through. From the insights gained in its top rate seminars, to the great contacts made, good organization and friendly delivery of the event. I look forward to being back for the April 2014 conference. Adam McEniry, Director Corporate Social Responsibility at Gran Tierra Energy Useful, not only for CSR but for development projects in general. Too often designers worry about the external stakeholders, regarding the internal ones as part of the problem. If internal stakeholders can be engaged, chances of both success and sustainability are increased. Linn Hammergren, International Development Consultant
