Paul defends the unity of the church by contrasting judgment and love. He reminds believers that they will reap what they sow and that new creation, not circumcision or lack thereof, is what matters. Paul encourages believers to gently correct others, watch themselves lest they also be tested, carry each other's burdens to fulfill Christ's law, and not boast but test their own work. He says to share with teachers and not be misled that God favors some over others. What is sown will be reaped, and if sown in the flesh decay will result but the spirit will bear eternal life.
