This document outlines the membership statement for Vintage Church. It discusses that the purpose of the church is to help disciples of Jesus grow up in authentic community, dive in to community, and reach out to the world for the kingdom mission. The membership statement focuses on growing up in love for God through prayer, worship, and study; diving in through love for one another by developing Christian character; and reaching out through love for the world by serving and sharing the gospel. Members agree to these responsibilities and receive privileges like opportunities for leadership, voting on major church decisions, and involvement in quarterly meetings.

14. BENEDICTION (Mark 12)
One of the scribes…asked him,
“Which commandment is the first of all?”
Jesus answered, “The first is:
‘Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one;
you shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, and with all your soul,
and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’
The second is this:
‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment greater than these.”
