Using technologies that are supported by several scientific studies, tailored to the organizational world, and inspired by successful models that were implemented in companies like Google or Genentech, we aim a simple, practical and interactive way to restore clarity, focus and wisdom in the organizational world.

Having inspiration as the key word, we aim to create in a short amount

put people’s eyes shining are our main goals in this type of
intervention.

A mindfulness “deep dive” in a very intensive workshop where the
participants go through the ZBHD program in 2 full days. It is followed
by the online version of the ZBHD (8 weeks) and an half-day workshop
in the end to wrap-up and integrate the whole process.

ZBHD
A full 8-weeks mindfulness program (9 classroom sessions) where a
group gathers every week in ±2h sessions. It allows a solid “cultivation”
of mindfulness in each participant. Based on the ZBHD protocol it
works as a “gym” that allows each participant to cultivate his/her mind
and to flourish all the “fruits” related with these practices.

ZBHD
Search Inside Yourself is an Emotional Intelligence program based in
mindfulness and neuroscience, that was created and developed at
Google. It consists of a 2 days full intense experience, followed by four
weeks online and it is designed to increase performance, resilience,
well-being ... and world peace.

Types of mindfulness interventions that we have available
30. ZBHD is the mindfulness program that serves as a base to most of our interventions
(8 weeks online)
ZBHD is an online mindfulness program that was already done by more than
1.000 people all over the world and that meanwhile gave rise to the portuguese
book “Aqui e Agora: Mindfulness” (Matéria-Prima Edições, 2015), the first book
about mindfulness written by a portuguese author.
It is structured to take place over a "journey" of 8 full weeks, where each week
the participants have access to different online content (videos, guided audio
meditations, supporting documents, several inspirations, etc.), so that they can
cultivate mindfulness in their lives and thus obtain the true fruits of the practice.
At the beginning and at the end of the program are conducted several
measurements (e.g. mental well-being, perceived stress, mindfulness, etc.) so
that each person can understand their evolution over the 8 weeks.
In terms of contents the program is structured around different objects of
awareness:
- breathing and attention training (Session 1 - S1)
- body and body sensations (S2 and S3)
- emotions and emotional balance (S4 and S5)
- thoughts and mental contents (S6)
- open-awareness (S7)
- prosocial mental habits - compassion and loving kindness (S8)

31. Contents and structure of a keynote
(30 to 90 minutes)
Keynotes are moments where we aim to have the bigger impact possible in the shortest amount of time, wanting to have inspiration
as the main goal.
!
What is mindfulness? For what reason and how it is being applied in some of the world’s best organizations, from corporations, to
hospitals, schools, universities and even the military? What are the main benefits for employees, teams and organizations of these
types of practices? Which studies from areas like neuroscience exist to support mindfulness practices? How to use our brain’s
neuroplasticity to cultivate a more resilient, calm and focused mind? How to use mindfulness in our daily work to develop greater
emotional intelligence, more productivity, higher wellbeing and motivation, specially in the employees with leadership roles? What are
some simple and practical exercises that each people can integrate in their daily lives?
These are just some of the questions that we aim to answer in a clear, inspiring and interactive way, looking that in the end everyone
feel inspired and has their eyes shining.

Contents and structure of an introductory workshop
(±3h classroom + 8 weeks online)
33. This is an opportunity to experience the ZBHD program in intensive format ("deep dive") where participants go through the entire
program in two days. It's an intense experience and aims to lay the foundations so that participants after this can do by themselves
the online program over 8 full weeks autonomously.
!
At the end of eight weeks online, where each person manages the pace of learning, there is an onsite session of ± 3 h, in order to
share experiences and to close the process. In this last session we seek to create a fertile ground for the design of an individual action
plan so that everyone can continue to practice autonomously after the end, integrating mindfulness in their lives.
Contents and structure of an advanced workshop
(2 days in classroom + 8 weeks online + 3h closing session in classroom)
The contents of each week of the program ZBHD are covered in mini
modules (8 in total) each containing:
- an initial inspiration (video);
- dialogue in pairs about the inspiration;
- theoretical framework;
- formal and informal practices;
- journaling exercises;
- dialogue in pairs using different types of listening;
- Group dialogue, using different methodologies.
34. The program is structured to take place over 8 full weeks (9 weekly sessions) and has a component to be held in person
every week, followed by daily challenges between each session.
!
Each session is devoted to a theme and beyond the information shared in the classroom and that can be also found in the
manual that is distributed, people also receive an email with the ZBHD program contents:
- a video with the theoretical framework (in case they want to review what was approached in the session);
- an audio mp3 file with a guided meditation;
- a suggestion for an informal mindfulness practice for that week;
- a document with frequently asked questions;
- a document with inspirations (one from the “East”, other from the “West”);
- a short inspiring video (e.g. TED talk).
Each weekly session lasts between 1h30 to 2 hours and includes space for:

35. Search Inside Yourself is an intense and highly interactive program, created and developed at Google to develop the emotional
intelligence of its employees. It is composed by two intense days based on Daniel Goleman's model of Emotional Intelligence
designed to optimize the mind for high performance, leadership and sustainable well-being, followed by four weeks of online
support designed to sustain and integrate the practices. Optimal for large groups, it provides a unique interactive experience (with
yourself and with others) that helps to strengthen the bonds among people, developing a thriving and collaborative culture.

37. Vasco believes that a "new world" is possible in organizations. A world where wise and compassionate
leaders are really able to "lead from the future as it emerges" as well as to inspire people to flourish into
their highest potential, igniting a real evolution in teams and organizations.
With a toolbox filled with "cutting-edge" awareness-based technologies (e.g. Search Inside Yourself, ZBHD,
Integral Model, Presencing/Theory U, Element-B) his dream is to co-create this future, something that he has
been doing in the last 12 years at different organizations as a facilitator and with the general public around the
globe as a social entrepreneur (ZorBuddha project).
During one year (2014) he was trained by SIYLI (Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute) with some of the
world greatest specialists in the fields of Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence and Neuroscience, like Daniel J.
Siegel, Chade-Meng Tan, Marc Lesser, Rick Hanson, Pamela Weiss, Mark Coleman, Shauna Shapiro,
Norman Fischer, among others, to become one of the first persons in the world certified to facilitate
Search Inside Yourself, a Leadership and Emotional Intelligence Program, based on Mindfulness and
Neuroscience, that was developed and tested at GOOGLE to increase organizational performance and
wellbeing, as well as to enhance the conditions for world peace, by inspiring leaders worldwide to become
more wise and compassionate. After the certification he was invited to become one of the mentors for the 2015
teacher training world class.
In 2015 he was accepted as part of the ACEL (Academy for Contemplative and Ethical Leadership), a project
from the Mind and Life Institute that aims to accelerate the development of a new generation of leadership
capable of collective innovation and creativity.
He is the author of the book "Aqui e Agora: mindfulness", launched in Portugal in September 2015.
