Sin embargo la historia mitrista (o historia oficial) nos ha pintado siempre la imagen de los aborígenes, como salvajes, malvados e inferiores, a los que había que desplazar. No obstante, cada vez más las escuelas revisionistas interpretan estos acontecimientos como un verdadero genocidio. Obviamente que hay matices en los puntos de vista de los distintos académicos. En este caso, la prestigiosa Revista Corpus, aborda este tema y plantea un debate a fondo. ¿Hubo un genocidio o etnocidio en las Pampas durante las campañas militares?
