2. TRiDE Mobility Organizes EV Rally
in Hyderabad to Spread Awareness
About Electric Vehicles
A rally to spread awareness about electric vehicles was
organised by TRiDE Mobility in Hyderabad on Sunday as a
part of the celebrations to mark 75th year of India’s
Independence. The rally saw participation from more than 15
prominent EV two-wheeler brands with over 50 riders, where
they covered around 10 km from Telugu Talli Flyover to deliver
a message on clean energy solutions. The whole event
promoted the feeling of patriotism along with how electric
mobility improves people’s quality of life and paves way for a
sustainable future for generations to come.

3. Atumobile receives ARAI's nod
for AtumVader e-bike
Hyderabad-based electric vehicle maker Atumobile on
Wednesday said it has received ARAI's nod for its latest
AtumVader e-bike, paving the way for its launch in the
market. The new cafe racer model, which is to be
manufactured at the company's Patancheru (Telangana)
facility, comes with a 2.4 kWh battery pack, a tubular
chassis, LED indicator and tail lamp, the company said. The
company's e-bike has received approval from the
Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

4. Okinawa Autotech Pips Ola Electric
to Become No 1 E2W Brand
Despite the incidents of re, electric two-wheeler
manufacturer Okinawa Autotech has overtaken Ola Electric to
become India's top electric two-wheeler brand.According to
the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA),
Okinawa Autotech sold the highest total of 9,309 units.
Meanwhile, Ola Electric sold 9,225 units last month.

5. Panel Highlights Big Lapses in Electric
Two-Wheelers, Centre in Favour of Hefty Fines
A committee formed by the ministry of road transport and
highways (MoRTH) to look into the manufacturing of electric
two-wheelers in India in the wake of a series of re incidents
has found serious lapses in the battery management system
(BMS) and venting mechanism of cells, senior ofcials in the
ministry said on Friday.

revolutionised the Indian gearless scooter market with the
legendary Kinetic scooters is making a comeback into the
Indian two-wheeler market. KEL has formulated a new
company for the production of electric two wheelers.
Evaluating the growth of the Indian EV market this decision
was taken in a board meeting. The company is already
manufacturing auto components like axles, gearboxes, frames
for electric two wheelers.

8. PM Modi Gives Another Push to
Electric Vehicle Adoption
In another thrust to his electric vehicle (EV) dream, Prime
Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the country
needs to be 'Aatmanirbhar' (self-reliant) in its energy sector.
Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on
the 75th Independence Day, Modi said that from solar energy
and bio fuels to adoption to electric vehicles (Evs), the
country needs to "reach the next level for energy
independence".
