According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways,
out of total stats, two-wheelers add up to 73,453, followed
by cars (7,763), autorickshaws (17,357), and buses (101). It
puts the state at the 3rd rank in terms of EV count.

HMSI is developing ex-fuel engines for India and will be
introducing a new entry-level commuter motorcycle. The
company is moving towards the electric mobility segment
with its new vertical - Honda Power Pack Energy India, which
will power electric three-wheelers with swappable batteries.

Terra Motors and SUN Mobility, a pioneer in the EV battery
swapping space has come together. Terra Motors will
integrate swappable battery-based technology into its
electric two-wheeler and three-wheeler passenger vehicles,
and SUN Mobility's swap points will be set up at various
Terra Motors dealerships.

6. Hero Electric Partners
with EV Charging Providers to
Set-up 50,000 Stations in India
As part of the collaboration, EV chargers will be installed in
more than 750 Hero Electric’s touch points across India,
which the partners say will benet over 450,000 Hero Electric
customers giving them affordable, and easily accessible
charging infrastructure. A few Hero Electric customers will
get free of cost charging units set up at their homes.

Ahmedabad-based technology company Matter has
unveiled its new battery pack for electric two-wheelers
keeping Indian environment and usage in mind. It employs
an active liquid cooling system to ensure the optimal
performance of all pack constituents, making it India's rst
liquid-cooled electric two-wheeler battery pack.

8. Electric Race Bike
“Ducati V21L
” Performs
Hot Laps at Vallelunga Circuit
Late last year, the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer unveiled
its electric prototype of the Ducati V21L, which will
eventually power the grid in the MotoE World Cup beginning
in 2023. Former world championship rider Alex De Angelis
took the electric race bike around the Vallelunga circuit in
Rome's northern suburbs and received positive feedback.

The Jaipur-based electric vehicle manufacturer entered the
EV space in June 2021 with 100+ experience centers, is
planning to expand across India. Previously launched two
electric scooter models, LEO and LYF, and is now preparing
to launch OXO, a high-speed electric bike that will provide
consumers with a smooth riding experience.
