The document discusses submitting to God's righteousness rather than establishing one's own. It references 2 Corinthians 13:5-8, which talks about testing oneself to see if one is truly in the faith. The hope is that people will do what is right, even if it makes the author appear to fail the test. The Holy Spirit will teach and remind believers of what Jesus said. Having peace of mind and heart is a gift from God that the world cannot take away.

5 Test yourselves [to see] if you are in the
faith. Examine yourselves. Or do you not
recognize for yourselves that Jesus Christ is
in you?—unless you fail the test.
6 And I hope you will recognize that we are
not failing the test.
7 Now we pray to God that you do nothing
wrong, not that we may appear to pass the
test, but that you may do what is right,
even though we [may appear] to fail.
8 For we are not able to do anything
against the truth, but only for the truth.

we need to be discerned. Grant us
Your loving and compassionate heart
