3. INTRODUCTION
Water is available in abundance on earth.
70% of earth is covered with water .
4. What is Desalination?
Water desalination processes separate dissolved salts
and other minerals from water.
What is Humidification Process?
The process in which the moisture is added to the air
without changing its dry bulb (DB) temperature is
called as humidification process.
5. What is Dehumidification Process?
The process in which the moisture is removed from
the air keeping its dry bulb (DB) temperature constant
is called as the dehumidification process

saline water is sprayed over hot air to create humidity
Humidity is condensed in Dehumidifier
Distilled water is collected

It is one of the affordable, sustainable and cost
efficient means of producing fresh water
Solar energy being a renewable energy source is one
of the eco friendly and will be the most sustainable
energy source in future
Upgraded models can be more energy efficient
