INTRODUCTION
 Water is available in abundance on earth.
 70% of earth is covered with water .
What is Desalination?
 Water desalination processes separate dissolved salts
and other minerals from water.
What is Humidification Process?
 The process in which the moisture is added to the air
without changing its dry bulb (DB) temperature is
called as humidification process.
What is Dehumidification Process?
 The process in which the moisture is removed from
the air keeping its dry bulb (DB) temperature constant
is called as the dehumidification process

 Air heated to required temperature using air heater
 Hot air passed to Humidifying chamber
 saline water is sprayed over hot air to create humidity
 Humidity is condensed in Dehumidifier
 Distilled water is collected

  • 3. INTRODUCTION  Water is available in abundance on earth.  70% of earth is covered with water .
  • 4. What is Desalination?  Water desalination processes separate dissolved salts and other minerals from water. What is Humidification Process?  The process in which the moisture is added to the air without changing its dry bulb (DB) temperature is called as humidification process.
  • 5. What is Dehumidification Process?  The process in which the moisture is removed from the air keeping its dry bulb (DB) temperature constant is called as the dehumidification process
