The document analyzes reasons why students bunk or miss classes using a Pareto analysis. It identifies 23 reasons for bunking classes through brainstorming and surveys of students. These reasons were ranked based on their cumulative contribution percentage based on 100 survey responses. The Pareto chart shows that the top 14 reasons, accounting for around 80% of responses, include avoiding boring lectures, not feeling well, random or emergency work at home, enjoying extended holidays, and completing pending projects or assignments. The methodology adopted for the analysis is also described.
