are as few as there are any other great
artists.
Teaching might even be the greatest of the
arts since the medium is the human mind
and spirit.

PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES
1. The teacher who somehow
managed to make the most boring
subject matter exciting to learn.
2. The one who always knew where to
draw the line.
3. You always felt comfortable asking
questions in that teacher’s class,
knowing that he/she'd never judge you
ignorance.
4. And there was no worse feeling
than knowing that the teacher was
disappointed in you.
5. You can still pinpoint the moment
he/she made a comment that changed
your life forever.
6. And when you think of all the
people who made you who you are,
he/she'll always be at the top.

If you are very lucky, you may find a teacher.
Three real teachers in a lifetime is the very
best of luck.
My three had these things in common. They all
loved what they were doing. They did not tell -
they catalyzed a burning desire to know. Under
their influence, the horizons sprung wide and
fear went away and the unknown became
knowable.
