- ขอขอบคุณทางอบก. ที่ได้ให้โอกาสสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการเกษตรมาร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นในเรื่องการปรับตัว และสวัสดีทุกท่าน การปรับตัวเป็นเรื่องที่มีความสำคัญมากสำหรับภาคเกษตร ทางสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการเกษตรกำลังอยู่ระหว่างการระดมความคิดเห็นปรับร่างยุทธศาสตร์และแผนปฏิบัติการว่าด้วยการเปลี่ยนแปลงภูมิอากาศด้านการเกษตร ซึ่งก็รวมในเรื่องยุทธศาสตร์ในการปรับตัวด้วย ทางอาจารย์ศุภกร ได้ให้ข้อคิดเห็นที่เป็นประโยชน์มากในการปรับปรุงร่างดังกล่าว
- ในจำนวนพื้นที่เกษตร 131 ล้านไร่ 50% เป็นที่นา 21% เป็นพืชไร่ และอี 21% เป็นไม้ผลและไม้ยืนต้น ที่เหลือเป็นสวนผัก และทุ่งหญ้าเลี้ยงสัตว์ ที่เหลือจะเป็นที่อยู่อาศัย ที่รกร้าง
- ผลผลิตเกษตรที่สำคัญเรียงตามมูลค่า คือข้าว และยางพารา รวมกันมูลค่ามากกว่า 6 แสนล้าน ภาคปศุสัตว์และประมงที่สำคัญคือไก่เนื้อ หมู กุ้ง พืชไร่อื่นที่สำคัญคืออ้อยโรงงาน มันสำปะหลัง ข้าวโพดเลี้ยงสัตว์ ปาล์มน้ำมัน ส่วนผลไม้ที่สำคัญ คือ ลำไย ทุเรียน สับปะรด ครัวเรือนเกษตรที่มีจำนวนมากที่สุดคือครัวเรือนเกษตรที่ผลิตข้าว 4.3 ล้านครัวเรือน รองลงมาเป็นยางพารา 1.5 ล้านครัวเรือน นอกจากนั้นก็เป็นมันสำปะหลัง ข้าวโพดเลี้ยงสัตว์ อ้อยโรงงาน ในส่วนของปศุสัตว์ก็เป็นโคเนื้อ ไก่
- การผลิตภาคเกษตรปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกประมาณ 51.88 ล้านตัน คิดเป็นอันดับสองรองจากภาคพลังงาน ประมาณ 57% เป็นการปล่อยจากนาข้าว 15% จากที่ดินเกษตรจากการใช้ปุ๋ย ภาคปศุสัตว์ปล่อยประมาณ 25% แบ่งเป็นการปล่อยจากการย่อยอาหารสัตว์และการจัดการมูลสัตว์
