Szenarien zu definieren ist essentiell um wirklich Szenarien zu erstellen,
und nicht Kausalketten oder einfache Ideen.
Im normalen Sprachgebrauch ist ein Szenario oder eine Szene oft
gebraucht. In der Literatur gibt es so viele verschiedene Definitionen wie
es verschiedene Ansätze zum erstellen gibt. Diese Definitionen
unterscheiden sich dann noch von den eigentlichen Ergebnissen wenn
Szenariotechniken angewendet werden.

Defining Scenarios
Scenarios: “narratives of alternative environments in which
today’s decisions may be played out. They are not predictions.
Nor are they strategies. Instead they are more like hypotheses
of different futures specifically designed to highlight the risks
and opportunities involved in specific strategic issues” (Ogilvy &
Schwartz, 1998: 1)
Spaniol, Rowland (2019) define the following criteria
to qualify as a scenario:
Future oriented, External context, Plausibly possible,
Narrative description, Systematized set but
Comparatively differentiated, Scenario purview,
Normative qualities
