Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

der
Zahnarztsohn
nisch
mehr
im
Vorlauf
ausscheidet,
sondern
ne
Medaille
holt,
auf
die
er
dann
mit
seinen
feinen
Beißerschen
druffbeißen
kann
bei
der
Siegerehrung,
bei
der
er
weint,
damit
die
Sponsoren
ihm
zusätzlich
zum
deutschen
Volk
auch
noch
was
auf
sein
Konto
überweisen
wollen.
Wovon
det
deutsche
Volk
und
die
Kassiererin
natürlich
nisch
viel
hat,
weil
es
leider
am
Ende
doch
zu
wenig
is,
was
da
überwiesen
wird
von
den
Mäzenen,
weil
sich
für
nen
Medaillengewinner,
der
ein
paar
mal
ein
paar
Runden
im
Stadion
im
Kreis
jeloofen
is,
ooch
keener
interessieren
will.
Da
hätte
er
auch
im
Vorlauf
ausscheiden
können.
Keen
Unterschied.
Was
aber
ohne
Russen
jar
nisch
so
leicht
jewesen
wäre.
Ja,
die
Russen,
die
durften
nisch
mittun
bei
den
Spielen
in
Brasilien,
weil
die
alle
doppen.
Das
heeßt,
die
fressen
Medikamente,
um
schneller
zu
loofen
als
der
Zahnarztsohn
aus
Hessen,
damit
sie
den
schlagen
in
der
Vorrunde,
damit
der
erst
jar
nisch
ins
Finale
kommt.
Det
hat
er
zwar
ohne
Russen
och
nisch
jeschaffert,
aber
die
Kenianer
doppen
ja
jenauso
stark
wie
die
Russen
und
die
haben
2. 2
sicher
keene
Eltern,
von
denen
die
Zahnarztpraxis
am
Mittwochabend
jeschlossen
bleeben
muss.
Die
Kenianer
waren
denn
ooch
zu
Überhauf
in
die
Finals
von
den
Löufern
anzutreffern.
Die
können
ja
trainieren,
so
viel
se
wollen.
Da
jibts
ja
sonst
nisch
in
Afrika.
Deswegen
trainieren
die
wie
die
Weltmeister,
die
sie
dann
auch
immer
werden,
und
schluckern
ordentlich
Medikamente,
damit
se
ihren
Kindern
mal
nen
Zahnarztstudium
im
Ausland
finanzieren
können,
um
ihnen
die
athletische
Karriere
zu
verbauern.
Weil
dann
hätten
die
ja
jar
keene
Zeit
mehr
zum
Loofen.
Wie
der
Zahnarztsohn
aus
Hessen
vom
oberpfälzischen
Athletikclub.
Weil
wir
deutsche
Kartoffeln
ja
schon
alle
studieren,
haben
wir
die
Zeit
schon
nisch
mehr
zum
Loofen.
Und
deswegen
stellt
sich
der
hessische
Zahnarztsohn
vom
oberpfälzer
Athletikclub
vor
den
olympischen
Spielen
immer
in
der
alten
Sportschule
im
deutschen
Osten
in
nen
Raum
rein,
in
dem
es
140
Grad
Minus
hat.
Det
hat
schon
was
von
Folter,
aber
wenns
hilft,
dann
macht
er
das
eben.
Weil
das
Sportlerleben,
sagt
er
in
der
Zeitung,
das
ist
sowieso
ne
Qual,
durchgehend,
kontinuierlich.
Warum
ers
dann
macht?
Kriegt
keen
Geld,
keenen
Reschpeckt,
keene
Vorteile,
nur
nen
Haufen
Kleidung
vom
Ausstatter,
den
er
sich
in
ner
ordentlichen
Ramschaktion
in
ner
niedersächsischen
Turnhalle
zusammenklaubt,
zu
der
er
im
Jegensatz
zu
den
Bundespolizistenathleten
nisch
mal
umsonst
reisen
darf
im
Zug
von
der
Deutschen
Bahn.
Da
macht
er
also
nen
Riesenwind,
nimmt
sich
den
Mittwochnachmittag,
an
dem
von
seinen
Eltern
die
Zahnarztpraxis
jeschlossen
is,
vom
Training
frei,
jeht
in
den
Kühlraum,
wo
er
friert
und
auch
sein
Herz
immer
kälter
wird,
weil
er
vom
Erfolgswahn
immer
eigensinniger
wird
und
sogar
nen
Hass
auf
die
Russen
entwickelt,
obwohl
die
eh
nisch
mehr
mitmischern
dürfen,
und
danach
fährt
er
noch
im
Zug
nach
Hessen
zu
der
Turnhalle
und
sammelt
sich
die
schwarz-‐rot-‐goldene
Ausschussware
vom
fränkischen
Ausrüster
in
ne
große
Plastiktüte
–
kein
Stil!
Aber
wat
tut
man
nisch
alles
für
det
Vaterland.
Der
janze
Stress,
weil
er
muss
ja
noch
bald
seine
Sachen
packern,
weil
mit
dem
Flugzeug
jeht
es
bald
nach
Brasilien.
Da
war
er
noch
nie,
und
deswegen
freut
er
sich
schon,
dass
er
da
ein
bisschen
Urlaub
hintendranhängen
kann,
und
gleechzeetig
Kindertraum
erfüllern
mit
Olympiateilnahme.
Sonne,
Strand,
mal
wieder,
nbüschen
bräunen
nach
die
Trainingslager
von
Südafrika.
Davor
jeht
leider
noch
nüsch,
weil
er
ja
mit
dem
Athletenbomber
von
Frankfurt
aus
hinfliegen
3. 3
kann.
Und
weil
det
nüsch
kostet,
nutzt
er
det
natürlich.
Er
hat
ja
sonst
schon
jedes
Jahr
Miese
wegen
seinem
Sport
–
obwohl
er
nen
Zahnarztsohn
ist.
Miese
kann
son
Kenianer
ja
nisch
machen,
weil
der
verdient
ja
so
oder
so
nixe.
Aber
er
hängt
sich
ja
total
rein,
obwohl
er
det
jar
nisch
nötig
hätte
als
Zahnklempner,
damit
er
sich
seinen
Traum
von
den
olympischen
Spielen
erfüllen
kann.
Damit
er
det
schafft,
wovon
er
bei
Muttern
an
der
Brust
schon
jeträumt
hat.
Einmal
dabei
sein.
Dieses
Flair,
wie
man
immer
sagt.
Und
weil
det
Vaterland
ihn
sponsert,
erzählt
er
heut
immer
professionell,
dass
det
natürlich
auch
ein
Grund
ist,
dass
er
Deutschland
da
gut
vertritt.
Er
verdient
nixe,
er
macht
die
Miese,
er
kriegt
keenen
Reschpeckt.
Und
dann
scheidet
er
auch
noch
im
Vorlauf
aus.
Wat
soll
der
Käse?
Dann
wenigstens
im
olympischen
Dorf
einen
druffmachen
beim
McDonalds,
Cheeseburger
fressen
bis
zum
Abwinkern.
Weil
da
kriegt
er
umsonst
zu
Fressen
als
Athlet.
Muss
er
nisch
bezahlen.
Genauso
gratis
wie
die
Ballonseide
von
dem
fränkischen
Ausrüster
und
der
Flug
mit
dem
Athletenbomber,
der
ihm
seene
Termine
vorgibt.
Sind
bleibende
Erinnerungen,
denkt
er
sich,
so
olympische
Spiele.
Die
Stimmung
ist
ähnlich
wie
auf
ner
Messe,
wo
man
mit
ner
Stofftasche
versorgt
wird,
um
alles
mögliche
an
Werbegeschenken
und
Infomaterial
reinzustopfern
in
die
Tasche,
die
man
dann
hinterher
doch
im
Puff
liegen
lässt,
weil
der
Puff
der
eigentliche
Grund
ist,
um
in
die
Messestadt
zu
reisen.
Bei
Olympia
ist
das
Ambiente
janz
ähnlich.
Raus
jeht
der
hagere
Zahnarztläufer
lieber
nisch
aus
dem
Dorf,
das
für
ihn
und
seinesgleichen
jebaut
wurde
in
ner
Stadt,
wo
nix
mehr
looft.
Da
jibts
keen
Jeld
für
Polizisten
oder
elektronische
Fußfesseln
–
neuester
Schrei!
–
und
für
den
Rest
der
Leute
och
nixe.
Außer
Kleberschnüffeln
und
Raubüberfälle.
Jefängnisse
voll,
und
nisch
mal
die
Drogenhändler
verdienen
mehr
jenug,
um
der
Familie
Nahrung
zu
geben.
Und
da
setzt
man
ihn
dann
rin
in
diese
Stadt,
den
hessischen
Zahnarztsohn.
Sone
Scheiße.
Keen
Jeld,
keen
Reschpeckt
und
dann
och
noch
in
ner
Stadt,
wo
nix
funktioniert.
Keene
Zuschauer,
Tickets
zu
teuer,
weil
ja
niemand
wat
verdient,
nichmal
ordentlicher
Präsident,
der
dat
Janze
würdevoll
eröffnet,
sondern
nur
son
Zwischenpräsident,
den
alle
Brasilianer
ausbuhen.
Zum
Glück
war
ich
da
gar
nisch
auf
der
Öffnungsfeier,
hätte
mir
nur
den
Vorlauf
verkorkst.
Da
fehlt
doch
die
Würde,
der
Reschpeckt
gegenüber
ihm,
der
extra
sich
freigenommen
hat
von
der
4. 4
Zahnarztpraxis,
um
sich
seinen
Traum
von
ordentlichen
Olympiaspielen
zu
erfüllen.
Und
dann
kommt
da
sowas.
Keen
Präsident,
keen
Fernseher
im
Zimmer
im
olympischen
Dorf,
ein
Bett,
das
vielleicht
wat
taugt
für
den
jemeinen
Brasileiro,
aber
doch
nisch
für
nen
deutschen
Hünen
wie
ihn,
der
im
Vorlauf
von
dem
janzen
Evente
antreten
muss.
Dat
jeht
doch
nisch.
Unwürdig.
Keen
Stil,
denkt
er
sich,
und
legt
sich
auf
die
seiner
sensiblen
Empfindung
nach
viel
zu
harte
Matratze.
Härtegrad
superhart
und
superkurz.
Die
olympischen
Spiele
sind
ooch
nisch
mehr
dat,
wat
se
mal
waren,
oder
anjeblich
jewesen
sind,
wat
er
halt
so
mitbekommen
hat
in
Mutters
Schoße.
Aber
wengstens
jibts
ein
deutsches
Haus,
wo
ich
mit
die
Hockeyspieler
feiern
kann.
Det
sin
ja
ooch
mehr
oder
weniger
allet
Zahnärzte.
Mit
denen
versteh
ick
mich.
Dann
ist
der
Zahnarztsohn
da
rüber
ins
deutsche
Haus,
gab
massenhaft
Schampanjer
und
Energiejetränk
und
Caipirinha
wegen
dem
kulturellen
Austausch
und
dann
gings
rund.
Da
kreuzten
dann
och
noch
andre
Nationen
auf.
Mit
lauter
exotischen
Schönheiten,
weil
ja
aus
aller
Welt
Leute
wie
er
da
waren.
Mit
denen
hat
er
dann
och
ordentlich
det
Tanzbeen
jeschwungen.
In
seinem
hessischen
Kaff
hätt
er
von
denen
ja
nie
einer
ins
Maul
schaun
dürfen
in
der
Zahnarztpraxis
seiner
Eltern.
Aber
dann
kam
da
irgendson
Funktionär
um
die
Ecke
und
hat
die
Party
beendet.
Um
zwo
in
der
Nacht.
Wat
soll
denn
det?
Hätten
die
Hockeygranden
jefragt.
Sie
hamm
Bronze
jeohlt,
immerhin
ooch
fürs
deutsche
Volk,
und
wollen
nun
anjemessen
feiern.
Und
wenn
se
des
nisch
dürfen,
dann
zerlegen
se
det
deutsche
Haus.
Det
hammse
schon
in
London
jemacht
und
deswegen
sei
die
Drohung
glaubwürdig.
Vor
Schlägerei
hammse
keene
Angst,
weil
sie
sind
ja
alle
Zahnärzte
und
Kieferorthopäden,
dann
können
se
sich
hinterher
ihre
Fressen
wieder
jegenseitig
richten.
Am
nächsten
Tag
fand
det
dann
sogar
die
Bildzeitung
öde
und
spießig,
dass
se
die
Bronzemedaillenfeierei
nisch
zujelassen
hamm.
Der
Zahnarztläufer
war
natürlich
auch
enttäuscht.
Sone
Party.
„Det
jibts
nur
einmal,
det
kommt
nisch
wieder.“
Naja,
dann
isser
hinterher,
als
die
Funktionäre
sich
schließlich
durchjesetzt
hatten,
weil
die
Hockeyspieler
alle
zu
besoffen
waren
für
Klopperei,
noch
zum
McDonalds.
Hat
sich
noch
vier
BigMäcs
jeholt,
von
denen
hat
er
drei
jemampft,
den
vierten
hat
er
einfach
stehen
lassen.
Kost
ja
nix.
Ein
anderer
Athlet,
Diskuswerfer
seines
Zeichens,
gloob
n
Kanadier,
hatte
sich
ooch
jelangweilt,
und
hat
dann
Burger
5. 5
durchs
olympische
Dorf
jeschleudert.
War
beeindruckend.
Zehn
andre
Athleten,
alle
jut
anjeschickert,
hamm
dem
kanadischen
Holzfällertyp
applaudiert.
Kost
ja
nix
und
macht
Spaß
und
war
der
totale
Renner
im
Netz.
Mehr
als
100.000
Klicks.
Wahnsinn,
so
macht
man
sich
Fans,
dachte
der
Läufer
aus
Hessen.
Aber
er
kann
ja
nix
weit
werfen.
Und
Laufen
is
irgendwie
auch
öd.
Det
lässt
sich
mit
den
Burgern
überhaupt
nisch
kombinieren.
Soll
er
auf
Burgern
loofen,
oder
wat?
Macht
doch
allet
keenen
Sinn,
im
Gegensatz
zum
Burgerweitwurf.
Det
macht
Sinn.
Det
is
lustig.
Da
kannste
auf
jeder
Party
punkten
damit.
Dann
hat
er
sich
im
Burgerrestaurant
noch
drei
McSundae
zum
Abschlussdessert
jeholt,
zwei
vor
Ort
jejessen,
eins
mit
oofn
Weg
und
is
in
sein
Kabuff
mit
der
zu
harten
Matratze,
die
sicher
ooch
zum
Vorlaufaus
beijetragen
hat,
weil
erklärbar
war
det
alles
ja
nisch
mehr.
Als
er
aber
rinne
jeht
in
det
Kabüffchen,
sind
die
Zimmerkollegen
grad
am
Pimpern
mit
zwei
Kanadierinnen,
da
isser
wieder
raus.
Kam
sich
ooch
doof
vor
beim
Zuguckern.
Mitmachen
war
nisch.
Wer
zuerst
kommt,
mahlt
zuerst.
Det
is
det
Selbe
wie
beim
Loofen.
Schade,
dass
des
mit
den
Exoten
von
der
Hockeyparty
nisch
jeklappert
hat.
Scheißfunktionäre.
Naja,
isser
wieder
in
McDonalds
runter,
da
jibts
immer
wat
zum
Mampfern
für
lau.
Dann
warer
wieder
beim
McDonalds
unten.
Warten,
bis
das
Gepimpere
in
seinem
Zimmer
beendet
war.
In
dem
Moment,
als
er
sich
noch
ne
Coke
auf
die
BigMäcs
und
die
Softeis
draufschüttet,
wird
ihm
brutal
schlecht.
Dermaßen
schlecht,
dass
er
rausjeht
aus
dem
Schnellimbiss
und
kotzt
vor
den
Laden.
Dass
da
zufällig
ne
Fahne
des
Gastgeberlandes
ist,
im
Rasen
drin,
aus
Blumen,
sehr
kunstvoll
und
Reschpeckt
abnötigend,
da
kann
doch
der
Zahnarzt
nix
dafür.
War
nisch
so
jemeint,
aber
am
nächsten
Tag
ist
dette
dann
trotzdem
der
janz
große
Skandal.
Deutscher
Akademikerolympionike
kotzt
auf
brasilianische
Fahne.
Muss
ja
nisch
sein.
Aber
wie
jesagt,
war
nisch
zu
ändern
nach
der
Burgerorgie.
Vielleicht
wärs
anders
ausjegangen,
wenn
der
McDonalds
sein
Essen
für
die
Athleten
schon
am
Tag
vor
dem
Schmaus
des
Zahnarztsohnes
nach
der
Hockeyparty
rationiert
hätte.
Wenn
er
nen
Einzelzimmer
jehabt
hätt,
dann
wär
det
ooch
nisch
passiert.
Aber
nee,
sie
steckern
die
Athleten
ja
in
Dreierzimmer.
Dabei
ist
det
doch
logisch,
dass
da
nur
schwer
Schlaf
zu
organisieren
is,
wenn
überall
Jugend
der
Welt
is
und
für
jeden
Jeschmacke
wat
dabei.
Und
wegen
der
Kotzaktion
hat
er
sich
dann
seinen
Traum
6. 6
von
Olympia
in
Brasilien
ein
letztes
Mal
erfüllt.
Rausjeschmissen
aus
der
Mannschaft
wegen
Beleidigung
des
Gastjebers
sozusagen.
Muss
nach
Hause
fahren,
Interviews
in
Regionalzeitungen
geben.
Wie
willste
det
rechtfertigen?
Jut,
die
zwo
Marathonmädels
hamm
auch
jesagt,
dass
die
eene
auf
Klo
musste
und
dadurch
die
andere
den
Rückstand
verkürzen
konnte.
So
hätten
se
det
jeschafft,
jemeinsam
auf
Position
knapp
unter
hundert
reinzulaufen
ins
Ziel,
um
sich
den
Traum
zu
erfüllen,
den
wir
doch
alle
haben,
wir
Athleten.
War
ooch
nisch
optimal
als
Begründung,
det
mit
dem
Klo
und
dann
ooch
noch
det
Händchenhalten.
Muss
nisch
sein,
det
mit
dem
Jekotze.
Aber
war
eben
so,
wat
willste
machen.
Wenns
scheiße
läuft,
läufts
scheiße.
Vorlaufaus,
Mannschaftsaus.
Schlechter
Eindruck.
Wie
willste
jetzt
noch
Sponsoren
finden
in
Hessen
oder
der
Oberpfalz?
Mehr
Opsionen
jibt
et
doch
jar
nisch.
Aber
die
Athletensprecherin
seines
Verbands
hats
ja
hinterher
sowieso
alles
oofn
Punkt
jebracht.
Waren
die
schlechtesten
olympischen
Spiele
jemals.
Keene
Zuschauer,
keen
Flair,
wie
man
so
sagt,
die
Busse
vom
olympischen
Dorf
ins
Stadion
brauchen
mehrere
Stunden.
Wollt
nisch
so
rechter
Zug
reinkommen
in
die
Sache.
Deswegen
sind
die
Stabhochspringerinnen
auch
alle
zu
früh
wieder
runterjefallen
vom
Himmel
und
auf
die
Latte
druff.
Die
hamm
dann
hinterher
och
immer
jesagt:
Hammwa
die
Tiefe
nich
jehabt.
Lag
vielleicht
am
Zug,
der
jefehlt
hat.
Muss
schon
Zug
herrschen,
wenn
man
wat
leisten
will,
so
wie
bei
den
Schnellläufern,
die
alle
drei
Zehntel
langsamer
waren
als
bei
den
nationalen
Meisterschaften
paar
Monate
zuvor.
Da
herrschte
ordentlich
Zug,
von
hinten,
Wind,
wat
janz
schön
wat
hilft,
wenn
man
möglichst
schnell
gradaus
laufen
will.
Aber
wat
willste
machen,
wenn
bei
den
Spielen
keen
Zug
herrscht?
Dann
musste
zu
Hause
für
Durchzug
sorgen.
Wenn
wa
jute
Vorläufe
haben
wollen,
dann
müssen
wir
solche
Tricks
anwenden.
Wir
sind
ja
nisch
blöd.
Und
wenn
die
andern
doppen,
dann
bescheißern
wir
eben
mit
legalen
Mitteln.
Kältekammer,
Windmesser,
aber
ooch
det
Trainingslager
in
Kienbaum,
wos
die
Folterkammern
jibt,
von
denen
die
Afrikaner
doch
nur
träumen
können.
Da
machen
wir
uns
janz
legal
fit
und
schließen
dann
mit
Hilfe
von
den
öffentlich-‐
rechtlichen
Investigativjournalisten
die
Russen
aus,
die
von
zwölf
bis
zum
Profialter
jemeinsam
im
Wald
Speerwerfen
üben
oder
Gehen,
während
unsere
Speerwerfer
in
Südafrika
in
der
Wärme
sich
et
jutjehen
lassen
oder
in
Kienbaum
am
Simulator
7. 7
unter
NASA-‐Bedingungen
schmeißen.
Und
dieselben
Kritiker
von
den
olympischen
Spielen,
die
öffentlich-‐rechtlichen
Investigativjournalisten,
die
auch
die
Bundesliga-‐
Fußballer
von
den
allgemeinen
Gebühren
auf
allerhöchstem
Niveau
durchfüttern,
die
berichten
kritisch
über
die
teuer
erstandenen
olympischen
Spiele.
Mäkeln
rum
am
Gigantomachismus,
am
Dopping,
an
den
leeren
Stadien,
an
der
Organisation,
am
Komitee,
an
den
Ex-‐Doppern.
Da
bleibt
keen
Auge
trocken,
denkt
sich
der
Biberkopf,
da
macht
det
Zuguckern
keenen
Spaß
mehr.
Da
wird
allet
hinterfragt.
Aber
warum
kooft
man
denn?
Ick
koof
doch
keene
Schnürsenkel,
wenn
ick
nen
Klettverschluss
haben
will.
Det
macht
doch
allet
keenen
Sinn
mehr.
Det
stinkt
doch
zum
Himmel.
Er
denkt
sich,
det
aber
nich
alleene.
Auch
die
Athleten,
die
dort
ihr
Bestes
jeben,
denken
sich
det.
Det
macht
doch
keenen
Sinn.
Die
fragen
sich
öffentlich,
was
eigentlich
der
Sinn
sein
soll.
Keen
Jeld,
keen
Reschpeckt,
der
Dschungelkönig,
sagen
sie,
kriegt
hundertfünfzigtausend
und
der
Olympiagewinner
zwanzigtausend,
das
hat
son
alter
Schwimmer
jesagt,
der
meinte:
pfui
Deibel,
det
kann
doch
nisch
sein,
det
is
doch
unjerescht.
Überhaupt
fühlen
sich
die
Athleten
ständig
unjerescht
behandelt.
Wat
macht
det
dann
noch
Sinn
überhaupt,
da
mitzumachen?
Die
eine,
die
Kollegin
von
dem
Zahnarztläufer,
von
dem
wir
jetzt
etwas
abgeschweifert
sind,
vom
selben
Athletikclub
aus
der
Oberpfalz,
die
hat
in
nem
Interview
mit
ner
Berliner
Zeitung
jesagt,
dat
se
sich
die
olympischen
Spiele
nisch
mal
mehr
im
Fernsehen
anschaut.
Sie
wär
schon
noch
aktiv.
Aber
sie
schaut
sich
det
nich
mehr
an,
ihren
Sport.
Interessiert
se
rein
jar
nischt
mehr.
Macht
zwar
noch
weiter
mit
Ziel
olympische
Spiele,
aber
schaut
sich
olympische
Spiele
nisch
mehr
an,
weil
völlig
uninteressant.
Weil
olympische
Spiele
machen
Dich
kaputt.
Ja,
wat
soll
det
denn
dann
alles
noch?
Die
Sinnsuche.
Isn
metaphysischer
Haufen,
diese
Athleten,
gelle?
Machen
wat,
wovon
se
den
Sinn
immerfort
erfragen
wollen.
Sehen
irgendwo
schon
nen
Sinn,
aber
den
können
se
nisch
so
richtig
fassen,
geschweige
denn
realisieren.
Is
so
ähnlich
wie
der
alte
Sisyphos
,
der
ständig
ne
Kugel
nen
Fels
hochrollert,
aber
dann
rollt
det
Viech
wieder
runter
und
er
muss
von
vorne
anfangen.
Wieder
hochrollern.
Warum
er
det
macht,
det
weeß
er
och
nisch.
Er
macht
et
eben
und
jibt
sich
dem
absurden
Spiele
hin.
So
ähnlich
die
Athleten
und
die
Messebesucher.
Wobei
die
Athleten
wenigstens
immer
noch
im
Jegensatz
zum
Sisyphos
zum
8. 8
Burgerrestaurant
gehen
können
und
die
Messebesucher
in
den
Puff.
Auch
wenn
det
Jemampfe
wie
die
Kugel
vom
ollen
Sisyphos
ooch
wieder
hochkommt
und
der
Puffbesuch
Syphilis.
Da
komm
ick
jetz
so
druff
wegen
Sisyphos,
denkt
sich
der
Biberkopf.
