INTRODUCTION
• Guessing game:Teacher sets photographs of different festivals in the world to
3. the blackboard . Students need to join the matching adjective to the picture
that describes the festival
• Teacher announces the topic: Let's talk about some more festivals today. The
students open the books on page 10 task 1. Students look at the pictures
,answer the questions and describe the pictures. Based on the titles students
guess what is it about.
INTRODUCING NEW VOCABULARY
• Student listen and follow to the text to see what is it about.By Check these
words box the teacher elicits the unknown words and they look up in the
dictionary to find out more .
4. • The teacher reads the questions from task 2 on page 11. Student read the
texts again and look up for the answers.Answer check.

5. • Task 4. The teacher elicits that phrases in the text don't have to be in the
infinitive form. Student look up for the phrases in the text. Answer check.
• Task 5 Students fill in the words from the text into phrases
CLOSURE
• ×Dice story: Students are divided into groups of 4.Each group has a set of
two symbol dices( coffee ,smile, telephone, balloon , mask, queen, alien )
Each student rolls the dice and based on the symbol that gets makes the
sentence using the target vocabulary of the lesson on the topic of festival.
Next student continues the story by adding his sentence. Students have 10
minutes after which is presentation of the story.
Assigning homework
• Create your own festival and describe where and when it takes the place
.Mention any kind of special feature.
